It fit perfectly! I ordered a 4x and I wear a 26 for pants and they fit great! Will order from them again!

Jackpot! I tried 3 different leggings from different companies and these were the charmer. I'm 5'7, 225lb, and usually wear size 18 in Sonoma jeans or 1x-2x in stretch pants depending on the manufacturer. I wanted leggings that fit but not skin tight as they can run, so I went up a size and ordered the 3x to check the fit and would work down if needed. The leggings are 95 cotton/5 spandex and may shrink slightly in length in the wash but they are pleasantly longer than I expected so length isn't an issue. They probably run slightly small and a 2x definitely would fit me but would be a little too snug for my comfort. The 3x fits perfectly and has a little more wiggle room in the legs where I'm fuller.
I would suggest definitely ordering a size up from your normal size.

Initial thoughts on second purchase (Black 4X):
Too much fabric in the belly area, comes up almost to my bra line in the front, barely up to my waist in back. I -really- wish leggings manufacturers would sell -separate- plus sizes for people who have more booty than belly and vice versa, because I dislike not having the waistband at approximately the same height all the way around.

The fabric is opaque. It's not as thick/sturdy cotton as the leggings sold on Amazon under the Women Within brand, but it's way better than the Amazon-available Fruit of the Loom and Just My Size leggings (super thin) that I have purchased in the past. If I am lucky, these will make it in the laundry wash/low dryer several more times than the aforementioned thinner fabric leggings before they start developing holes.

Leg length is generous enough to cover my sock tops or wear with footie socks without showing my ankles. Very pleased with that.

Waistband has a nice stretch to it and stays up well without binding.

Cat and dog hair stick to the fabric no more or less than normal cotton (not especially smooth cotton).

Review on first purchase (Dark Denim 4X)
I normally wear a large 3X or small 4X (24 or 26 depending on brand/design).

Cons:
- Waistband is a bit on the thin size, about 3/4" in width. It isn't as snug as I would like, stretches out too far, so it's saggy at the waist all around and has to be hiked up periodically.
- I have a fair amount of belly, I'm a bit on the booty-do end of things (almost as much belly as rear end), but these were made for someone with twice as much belly as butt. It comes up to my bra line in front, and pulls down close to my hiney-crack in back.
- The legs are a fair bit snug. They fit on me like a large 2X or small 3X. I ordered a 4X.
- I'm 5'6". From the reviews, I expected these to run long. The hems rest above my ankles, these are "high water" stretch pants.

Pros:
- even fairly snug, the fabric is fully opaque
- the problems with all stretch pants are like this - it's like they don't bother designing for plus size women, they just use skinny person proportions and enlarge them. These are by no means the worst I have tried.
- these would work great for petite-height women with fuller belly areas than mine, so gave an extra star.

Not worth the effort to return, especially since at least these don't have little holes in the legs like my other stretch pants which are past their usable lifespan.

This is my 11th pair of leggings from this brand. Each time I go to my recent orders go to buy again and the size and everything is already set for me and I press buy now. EVERY single time they are different. This time is the worst of all. They are significantly shorter in the waist area. Oh my goodness so much thinner than the others. When I bend over you can see everything. The others you cant. When just sitting and looking down I can see my thigh tattoo whereas the others I can not. I honestly would love it if I could get them replaced. I just don't have any other pairs right now because after one month of wearing this brand of bands they get little holes in it so I throw them away. The first day of trying on THIS NEW ORDER there is already a hole in the crotch. Just pulling them up with no tug popped a seam in both pairs I ordered. I keep ordering from this brand because I know they will fit. This time for some reason they feel a little smaller. They are labeled the same size as the others. I have not gained any weight and if you want to get technical I lost 18 pounds since I bought the pairs before this last time so it should feel bigger on me But it doesn't.

I usually prefer a silkier legging and when these arrived, I was put off by the cottony feel that is a little heavier & stiffer than other leggings. But I changed my mind when I put them on. They are comfy, opaque, and fit pretty well. I'm a 16/18 and I bought the 2X plus size.

After plenty of wash & wear, I am pleased with the overall construction of these leggings, though I have to note that they've pilled up in the crochetal region due to thigh rub. But no holes yet, and no pilling elsewhere on the legs, even other places where friction might be high.

I continue to reorder these leggings. I love them. No complaints.

I was hoping these fit me and they did! I normally wear anywhere between a size 18W-22W in pants but in leggings, I have found that most of them are a size XL or a 1X. So I was concerned and didn't know what size to order based on the comments left by other reviewers. I actually ordered 2 different sizes. For the black pair, I ordered a 2X and they fit just fine. Very comfortable and not see through or thin at all with just enough stretch. I went up a size for all the colored leggings and ordered a 3X because they are lighter colors and I didn't want them to look as "skin tight". I also sized up in case there is any shrinkage after washing. Right now, they are comfortably fitted. Not too tight where you can barely breathe and not too loose where they are bagging down around your ankles and sagging in the butt.

I feel that the color on all of these are very good and so is the quality. I would definitely re-order. My advice is order true to your regular legging size. I could've definitely taken a 2x in all of the colors.

Stretchy and soft. Fabric is cut with plus size curvy girls in mind and allows room for wider thighs. Bought the 3x which was perfect, a little loose if anything. I am a size 20/22 in pants and I have wide hips/thighs.

Nice fit Mostly opaque. Comfortable. They are a nice summer legging for wearing under matching dresses or tunic tops.
