Cashmere is a superlative, hypoallergenic fiber. Cashmere fiber is much like sheep's wool, but warmer and not itchy. It is lacking in lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic and also allows it to be processed without the need for high temperatures or harsh chemicals in washing. Cashmere absorbs and releases water vapor as humidity rises and falls, which is why it works so well as a natural insulator. According to experts, cashmere will keep you warm 8 (!) times better than ordinary wool.


Not your ordinary goats Cashmere Goats have long curling horns and grow long shaggy coats of hair. Contrary to popular belief the undercoat grows all over their body, not just their underbelly. Cashmere goats are hardy animals slightly smaller in size than ordinary goats. They can endure harsh winters, hot summers and long periods of drought. They can get by on little water and eat the coarsest grasses. .	Spring Gathering Most of this down fiber is plucked or combed out by hand during the molting season. One of the reasons why cashmere is so special, is the nature of it. The diameter of a piece of cashmere yarn is under 19 microns (1/10th the diameter of a human hair). Also, Incredibly astonishing is the amount of yarn is needed to craft a small sized sweater. It takes the wool of 2-3 Cashmere goats to make one scarf! Serves a purpose however a bit small deff doesn't flatter on just protects from the cold I would wear it under a better looking hat to keep head warm in snow

I liked the look and the fit. It's very thin and not made for extremely cold weather. You can wear this for long periods of time inside a building if you have a bad hair day.

Exactly what I wanted. Color matched beautifully with my planned outfit. Picture color was represented accurately. I may order it in more colors.

It's super soft and warm, beautiful material. It is a little smaller and less "slouchy" than I expected, and I am a small person, so you should take that into consideration. However it still fits fine and looks good.
