These days, you really need your fingers! Whether texting or scrambling to answer that incoming call, you don't want to be bothered with taking off your gloves. At the office computer keyboard, you need to keep those wrists and fingertips warm while you're typing. These half-gloves will let your fingertips roam free to type, text, play the violin or pick a handy pocket.
Pure sustainably sourced alpaca wool from the high Andes keeps you warm. Beautiful patterns keep you looking good. One size fits all.
Alpaca - The Royal Fiber of the Incas
Alpaca fiber comes from the alpaca, an animal like a llama that lives at high altitudes in Bolivia and Peru. Its lustrous, silky feel sets it apart from other fibers, and during the Inca Empire (1200 AD - 1532 AD), only the royal family could use clothing made of Alpaca.
Why buy Alpaca?
Alpaca is a rare fiber with limited production. It is warmer, softer and far more durable than wool. Due to its long fiber length, alpaca will never pill. Your Alpaca item is an investment that will still look beautiful many years after its purchase.
Alpaca is a Socially Responsible Fiber
Alpaca is an ecologically sustainable "green" fiber. Alpacas graze freely as they have for millenia. The husbandry of alpaca sustains rural families in the highlands of Peru, enabling them to stay in their traditional homes.
How to care for your Alpaca clothing:
Alpaca is not delicate. Care for exactly like wool.
Hand-wash in cold water or dry-clean.
Lay flat to dry.
Store neatly folded - do not hang.
Store in a moth-free environment.
With this care, an Alpaca item will stand up to years of everyday usage with few signs of wear.
These are the perfect look, feel and length for me. I have renauds so when temperatures drop I need some extra protection for my hands but need my fingers free.
Love these! Are perfect for the freezing room I’m I’m at work
Wife says that the gloves are comfys, warm and toasty.
These are warm, soft, comfortable, well-made gloves, and also very pretty. My only quibble is that they come up a little too high on my fingers, restricting movement somewhat. I have long fingers so was surprised to have this problem. Other than that they are very nice and keep my hands warm on cold days.
This gloves are super soft and fit great. I love them.
Love these. Horrifyingly expensive but are gorgeous gloves. I’ve got osteoarthritis in hands and these are soft warm and kind of comforting. I got them for walking dogs but they are so nice that I wear them shopping as well. I’d just have liked them a touch longer to cover knuckles, but am still very happy with them.
Really lovely gloves. Soft, warm and well made. Would make a great gift, but I’m keeping mine!
beautifully made and very good fit. They are expensive and I will need to see how robust and long-lasting they prove to be.
