I bought one pair of these in 2013 and another in early 2016. The one I received in 2013 was very comfortable and is still going strong. Its only minor issue was that it would retract from your ears the longer you wore it. It could have been a little bigger to be more effective. It had a nice, soft grey fleece lining in the ears. The one I bought in 2016 was vastly different. It was a little bigger and had no fleece on the ears, It was all black and not as comfortable. See pictures of both. I know they are the same because I bought them on the same amazon link as a reorder. I am surprised by the vast difference between the two orders. I think the problem was that older one was bought directly from amazon, and the newer one was purchased on amazon, but through a third party: Exclusive apparel.

Excellent quality, comfortable and just what I need as a newcomer to the snowy weather in Colorado. I thought that a warm hat would be enough but the wind seems to slip into my outfits anyway. If I wear these nifty ear warmers as an addition, I am warm regardless of the wind or snow....now the foot end needs attention, but my upper torso is all set. The wool is the best material for keeping warm.

Got these when I cut my hair short and didn’t want to mess it up with a hat on the way to work. They are very warm and meet my needs. They do tend to slip Down on my ears and require frequent adjustment. I can wear earbuds with them, but they start to hurt my ears after a while when I do. Overall, happy with my purchase. If I were buying again I might get the kind with bluetooth h afphon s built in though.

I'm temporarily stuck in the North and needed some more warmth. 180s from amazon to the rescue!

These fit on my big ol' head that at times causes me problems, when trying to find a proper fit. They will also fit those with very low self esteem.......Just Kidding!!!

They are soft and comfortable and work very well along with a windbreaker hood for warmth and less hair muss.

I like them and they're better than the last pair that I purchased and of course....I don't have with me when I need them!

Today it's 28 degrees and gusting winds, I love them, at 38 and calm I like them. Below 0 I will have an unquenchable lust and such passionate feelings for them that you'll have to go to amazon's xxx site to see all of the stars that I award them....never been there?

23 January 2018 Update: these are still going strong. I stuff them in my pocket or my bag and have definitely not babied them, but they are still in good shape and keep my ears warm on those bitter cold days.

I picked these up because my ears were getting close to frostbitten on my morning walk to work during the Great Polar Vortex of 2014 or whatever they're calling it. These are exceptionally warm with a fairly solid construction. I haven't had them long, so I can't speak to their long-term durability, but they feel pretty solid. They have some type of mechanism that allows you to expand them while rolling up nicely to fit in my overcoat pocket. Despite some of the comments, they seemed to fit just fine, but while I am around 6'3" and have a proportionately sized head, I'm not overweight and don't have a monster-sized head. In fact, they could still expand a few more notches wider if necessary. They're warm enough that I actually ended up skipping the hat today.

He came home extremely downcast because exactly one day after he had bought some new earmuffs -- he lost them. I was glad to find men's Chesterfield 180s on amazon. I read the reviews and ordered them for him. He likes them better than the original ones he lost! "They're much warmer and they adjusted to fit better than the other pair!" He enjoys the back-of-the-neck fit versus the over-the-top-of-the-head fit so there were no surprises. So far, he's still wearing them and hasn't inadvertently lost them because he now understands that he has to keep them stashed in one of those extra zippered pockets in his ski parka -- and not to stash them in a typical side pocket that he's in and out of constantly for keys and gloves. I'm sure that's how his other pair disappeared...

The ear warmer wildly exceeded my expectations. It makes an enormous difference when I wear it outside for long periods of time, even when I'm cycling in winter (and I am more sensitive to cold than the average person). Another bonus: it's easy to twist into a compact, compressed shape that can easily fit into a jacket pocket. For the amount of money I spent on it and the frequency I use it (four to five times a week), I'm surprised it has lasted as long as it has.

I was concerned from day one that the plastic, internal mechanism that keeps the ear muffs under spring tension so they will stay on your ears seemed to be flimsy. Sure enough, after very little use, there was a snapping noise and the ear muffs fell off. The plastic mechanism inside the back strap of the ear muffs had broken.

I will say that the Women's Tahoe Ear Warmer model I bought for my wife have not broken. They also, although supposedly the same 180 model in white, appeared much higher in quality than what I received, which bore little resemblance to the picture of the product offered. Mine looked more like cheap knock-offs and came from a different vendor.

Excellent quality ear warmers. Previously, I have always used cheap ear warmers but these quickly tended to tear after time, and weren't as comfortable. I really like these because there is a simple mechanism that allows them to fold away neatly, and when needed for use, reexpands to the user's requirements. They sit snuggly around the ear but not too tight and they definitely keep the ear very warm! A must have for the winter cold!

I bought a cheaper version and it didn't sit on the ears properly, which is no use. This one is worth the extra money for the adjustable headband - the ear warmers sit snuggly on your ears and stay warm. Feels comfy on the back of the head too.

They look good on me and the person I gave as a gift to. I would like it for myself now too. Comfortable and easily adjustable to head-size and easy to fold and store. Great for people who want to keep their hair unspoilt too.
I browsed many and this had the best reviews and for good reason.

I've had 180s ear warmers before and these are as good as any I've had. Very warm and the stretch fit keeps them at a comfortable snugness.

What can I say. Recommended by a friend and they work brilliantly for my walk down the pier every morning.
