I love this watch, but believe the watch I was sent was defective. The pin, that hooks into the hole of the wrist band, broke. Now, it's no longer possible to wear the watch. After only six or seven months of light use, I don't believe the construction of the watch should be breaking like this. I'm disappointed.

I'm upgrading my rating to 3. While I'm still disappointed that the wrist band broke, I'm impressed with the customer service I received from Swatch. When I emailed Swatch Customer Support, they immediately got back to me via email, thus:

Dear ...,
Thank you for contacting Swatch. I am sorry that your band has come apart after such a short time.
Amazon is not authorized to sell Swatch merchandise so it is possibel that you may have received a defective timepiece.
Bands are not covered under any warranty.
Replacement buckle sets are sold separately for $3.50.
Please reach out to sales support at (866)379-2824 to place your order. Please provide the name and reference number referenced in your message when you call.

When I called the number provided, I was able to order a replacement wrist band for $3.87. The CSR mailed me a receipt for my spare parts request, with my order number. I await its arrival.

Broke after 6 months. Swatch will not honor the warranty because it was not purchased through an authorized dealer.

While best known as an "awesome '80s" fad, Swatch is a brand I seem to have forgotten about until last year. Taking advantage of the convenience of the Internet, Swatch gives you almost infinite combinations to express yourself through a timepiece. Not only are they stylish, but well made. This is not made in China knocked out in a cookie-cutter quick succession. So you have durability to rock around the clock! This particular model displays the intricuit gears, springs & tiny, tiny screws. The casing is solid & the strap feels solid. I enjoy this purchase.

What you’re purchasing is a nostalgia fashion accessory. It is in no way as durable as a G-shock.

I would not consider it an everyday wear just because of that. But… if you’re goin casual… and want a timepiece that spews casual… pick yourself up a few color coordinated ones to complete that outfit!

Love it! Came nicely packaged, and it looks so wonderful... I hope my dad will like it! It's his Christmas gift. He likes swatches, so I hope he doesn't already have this. If he does, then I guess this girl got herself a new watch.

The watch arrived three days earlier than expected. I was looking for an interesting but inexpensive watch that is durable. Although made of plastic and silicone, this looks great in person, and could be worn with a casual or even business casual ensemble. The watch is light, and the ticking isn't very loud at all. I have loved Swatches for years, and it's nice to have one again.

packaging was crappy. got scared that item mite be damaged. thank goodness for the plastic box. I have a small wrist but love d effect is swatch

I have been wearing Swatch watches for many years however mine broke and I found this one on Amazon, it was also $30 less than the first time I saw it. I also love the design and the bracelet is very comfortable and fits for a very small wrist. Thank you.

Light, very comfortable and astonishingly accurate. Less than a second per month by my toally unscientific reckoning. Just a fun piece to wear. The only thing I would change is the quality of the plastic on the crystal. Again, not a Rolex but it doesn't pretend to be.
