I purchased these boots in order to do some volunteer work in a construction zone that required a hard hat and steel toe shoes. I wanted the shoes to have some utility to me beyond this work - possibly for doing chainsaw work around my own yard or even just to wear out and about - and this style really fit the bill. They are lightweight and have really great stability, not to mention traction in the snow and on icy paths. The nice leather upper makes them somewhat less utilitarian than another heavier material might, though, so you need to be careful about kneeling in scrappy areas, as it will scuff the toes up. But that being said, even scuffed a bit, with a little shoe oil and a buff, these shoes still manage to do double duty, keeping my feet safe, warm and comfortable at an outdoor, New England winter construction site, while also looking great with my jeans when I wear them later on in the day to run other errands.

The boots look nice and not bulky like others. However after wearing it a week on the job doing demolition work, i was in pain from the afternoon on the first day to the last day. The comfort soles wear out by the afternoon and leaves you with pure boot hitting the concrete for the rest of the work.
The mouth of the shoe by the ankle can hurt by the third third day even if you wear thick, ankle high socks..i wore the socks from the beginning and they still hurt like i banged my ankle into iron.. Only to stop wearing the boots by the end of the work week and the pain to go away....

The fit is tight although it runs wide..i had to realize that they all run narrow so when i got the wide it was really an average size fit where you're not sure if it will fit snug or not.. Which it did..I don't have round or fat feet but rather thin yet wide feet..if you already generally have trouble getting the right size here or there for some shoes just keep on looking for other boots as I will be doing.. I am heavy set and work in construction and was looking for new boots.. However this is my third time replacing/exchanging CAT boots mostly because of the fit..but the fact that the soles wore out on an 8 hour day and I had to carry sneakers to wear right after work in order to get out of pain is just making me look for another brand altogether. Some friends have suggested Keen or workinGear ..unfortunately i will have to keep looking.

I use these boots for a variety of activities, but mostly farm work and logging. I have rolled many a log up on the toes while working and can’t even feel it. It’s soooo nice to have WOMEN’S work boots that 1) fit correctly 2) stand up to major abuse 3) are easy to pull on and remove 4) actually are made for women who get out there and get the job done!! I’d highly recommend.

Quality leather just go a half size bigger!! But this my second pair I bought another because I was worried they would change down the road, but I oil mine and they seem to be holding up well I am a landscaper and for women pull on boots are not easy to find especially well made boots!!!

I didn't find the boot too long in toe box as some other reviewers have said. I will say that they do feel narrower than expected but not too tight that I need to return, just wish I had a little more room for heavier socks in winter. Overall very happy esp. with easy on/off.

The toe area is very tight and narrow, causing a lot of pain. The ankle area is very big. I wear a size 6 in women's and the length on this boot was very long! It was very heavy and clunky. I am sending them back.

These boots took a little breaking in to get comfortable. I usually wear some wool socks in them if I'm gonna wear them all day. So far no issues and I really like not having to lace them up but still having a snug fit without the heel slipping.

This is a great women's workboot. I have high arches and messed up toes and I can wear them for hours with no discomfort.
