Personally, I would NEVER recommend these to anyone. Although they look cool, and super comfy, they are quite the opposite. As a Correctional Officer I am on my feet anywhere between 8-16 hours a day, pounding concrete and stairs. I was in dire need of some relief/comfort, only to be disappointed immensely by these Under Armour Boots. There is no cushion, or support in these shoes what so ever. I'm having to hobble out of work each night in pain. Luckily I've found some inserts that will hold me over until I can purchase a different pair of boots.
I cant stress enough.. Save your money and try something else.

I work 12 hour shifts in law enforcement. Comfortable boots are a MUST. My first pair of Under Armour Valsetz felt amazing right out of the box, brand new. No breaking in period needed. I was so sad when they started to rip. I have to add, they took a beating. I walk THOUSANDS of steps, every day, and they held up considering what I put them through. I had them for 16 months before they started to rip. The comfort factor was a solid 5 stars. I never thought the new Valsetz 1.5 would be so awful. I wore them to work the day after I got them. Oh my WORD my feet were killing me by hour 3. Thankfully I thought to bring my old pair with me, just in case. I can’t describe the pain. I decided to wear them to the practice range yesterday on my day off, for only 4 hours. I am hoping that over time they will become less painful. I am so disappointed. They improved the durability, apparently, but the comfort is just not there. I’ve been searching online to find a pair of the older version. Fingers crossed.

I got a second pair after using my 1st pair for close to 2 years.. I work standing for long periods of time and these boots are light and comfortable.. I tried other styles and brands and nothing comes close.. I’m on my second pair since 2016.. Very happy.........DEC 2019 UPDATE: discolored very quick quality not as good as 1st pair

I bought these shoes despite all of the comments/reviews that told me not to, in hopes it would be different for me. I liked the fact that they had high ankle support. I’m a mail carrier—so I’m on my feet for atleast 6 hours a day walking (about 8-10) miles. I don’t even know why they bothered putting any insoles in the shoes, it was like there was nothing there. Within the second day of wearing them the fabric or hard plastic was already cracking where it creased. I sent these suckers back ASAP. Do better UA.

Not sure what's going on. This is the 4th pair of these I've bought over the years and they all eventually became worn but not for at least a year. Within 2 weeks, the sides of these boots were cracking and bits of black were flaking off everywhere. I've returned them. Disappointed because I've always loved them. Lightweight, comfortable and great ankle support. I was loyal and satisfied. They're not inexpensive so I expect the boot to last. I have friends wearing $50 boots that wear better than these. Back to the drawing board Under Armour!

I have had under armour boots in the past and they were so comfortable, these.... not so much. I had to put inserts inside because there was no cushion

I originally reviewed these boots with 5 stars after having them for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, that didn't last long. I train tracking dogs, so I spend several hours a day, most days of the week, out in the rainy woods of the Carolinas. I need something that can withstand a lot of use in tough conditions. This pair held up for just a bit.
The insole can be easily removed and replaced with something more comfortable. From an appearance and comfort standpoint, these are great. Easy to move in and can be worn all day.
After about 6 weeks of wear, the top of the left boot was ripped by barbed wire. Understandable, I suppose. I stitched it back up. It's now been 7 months, and the right boot is falling apart. They also take forever to dry-- about 4 hours with a boot dryer.
These will do what you ask of them for a short period of time, but they're essentially a cheap pair of boots and aren't built for the long-haul. You get what you pay for with these. I've absolutely loved them, but when your shoes are falling apart beneath you, it's time to move on to a different brand.

Why 1.5? Why? Why? If it’s not broken then why fix it? My wife has been purchasing valsetz for years and now they have changed stuff up and they are different now. Don’t fit the same.

Hugely unimpressed from a high brand name such as Under Armour. I bought these boots in January and I'm already replacing them which I find very disappointing. I changed from the Adidas GSG9 which is a far superior boot and I'm left scratching my head as to why! The Valsetz are too lightweight, the sole is worn down already and the fabric is coming away at the heel....... and this is before I went through winter in them. I work in security and need a reliable boots that give me comfort, durability and a level of robustness, the Velsetz did neither. Very disappointed all round.

Not waterproof. Slippy under feet in rain
Guess they are not going to last long in all weathers.

Perfect! Wearing them everyday at work, very comfy!

REALLY happy, excellent quality and service. Arrived very quickly. After years of having to wear black boots for work; these really are damn good x

Arrived on time. Fit perfectly. Like being them. Thank you
