I'll be moonstomping forever in my Dr. Martens. |
My experience with these shoes is quite literally half and half. While the right boot was quite comfortable to work in from day one the left boot is much tighter on the top and dug into my foot. I came home with a bruise. I'm convinced the left shoe is defective because the right one doesnt have this issue at all. It's a shame because my job is quite demanding on my feet and I really needed a good comfortable safety shoe. These arrived just in time but now I cant wear them for risk of further injury. Hopefully the bruise it left doesn't make being on my feet even harder after today. As for actual shoe size length wise they fit perfect for a US ladies 8.5 if anyone needed reference. |
Had to replace my chelsea boot with these, due to having right ankle issues. My only problem with martens now, is the lack of availability of the non slip sole these boots and the Chelseas have. It is one of the best outsoles I have ever seen on a boot. Unfortunately, to get this style outsole on a steel toe is becoming almost impossible. This boot, the chelsea, and the now discontinued hyten are the only ones. |
Great shoe just too big. I only own women size 11s and this was like wearing boats. I figured there would be a problem because they stated it was a men’s size 10 with women’s size 11 and I wear a men’s 9 and women’s 11. |
These are real nice. The steel toe is what sold me on getting these and I am glad i did. I am now looking for another pair of Dr.'s. |
Great quality boot! Will last a lifetime! Runs a little large so order a size down if you’re in between sizes. |
I usually wear a 10 in shoes and a 10.5 in boots. I ordered a 11 in these because of the steel toe. I have a wide foot and these fit great. There def is a break in period I noticed after my first 12 hour shift. One pressure point is the beading at the top of the boot digs into my leg. |
Keep my feet dry and protected at work. So far none of the gross substances o work with have stuck to these boots, though I did treat with mink oil. Got a 100lb cooler dropped on my feet last week and didn’t feel a thing! Also the only work boots I can wear without an insole and not be sore at the end of the day. They are heavy though. |
