Look, I just got off an 8.5 hour shift today and my 9.5wide width feet are swollen, tired and achy from the Wolverine “athletic” $60 shoes. (I was trying to not pay much, big mistake!) Keens were made for big wide feet! I put these on because they just arrived AND MY FEET FEEL LIKE CINDERELLA AT THE BALL! I know I’ll wear them out but it will take a while because I paid for quality with Keens! Arch support is there...if I stretch before and after work I don’t need an insert. (Wear with black no show or ankle socks...because you’ll look damn good!) Also the treads are damn good for oily floors and cement to wooden floors I walk on! I’m so looking forward to working with them!
I have been wearing this for months now and it is a great shoe for work. Comfortable, breathable (no funky shoes) and lightweight compare to my Atlanta’s which I loved and had for 4 years and I wore to work every day. It’s really hard to beat a pair of good Keens. The only this that bothers me is that the bottom of the shoe looks very plastic/rubbery. I got over that and grew to love it very quickly. The toe box is large enough to fit my wide feet and I don’t look like bozo the clown with a size 11.
