Was looking for a long time.
I had Muck boots before, my previous boots lasted about 5 years with every day wear for about an hour or two; so, will see how long these will go...
These boots are practically the best I tried.
However, Size 8 in this boots fit my normal size 9. I tried many size 9 Muck boots before I got these ones - all of them are huge! Thus I had to size down.
Pros:
- Very comfortable! I wear these boots about 2-3 hours a day, almost every day and very happy with comfort level.
- Feels lite when worn, even may appear heavy when first handled. Great walking boots for me.
- Appears to be well-made, good heavy rubber material; also like soft top.
- Love that these have stable flat heel and great traction - great help if walking on uneven ground. Other models do not have it.
- Relatively easy put these on and take them off - this is big challenge for me with any boots thought.
- Worn in temperatures from 23 deg F to 90 deg F - feels great.
- Women's fit that is positively different from men's.
Cons:
- The insert does not work. I had to take it out. - that is why only 4 stars.
- Fits better without insert.
- Hard to get sizing right without trying first.

We live on 20 acres with our 3 large dogs. There is ALWAYS something to do outside no matter the weather. I have a wide foot and calf and it is ALWAYS so hard to find any type of boot. These are WONDERFUL and comfortable. With my rain boots I feel the shale under my feet and I would slip with them. Not with these. My feet have stayed warm, however, have NOT used in winter yet.

Update - November 2019. These boots are just what I was looking for. Great in rain. Warm in the winter. Cool in the summer. I just love them!!

These are the boots I have been looking for for years. We have a steep muddy walk in the woods down to the creek st our farm. I need boots with a good tread for the mud, and waterproof wading type boots for the creek.

These boots fit the bill I can navigate the steep, muddy path down to the creek, and then walk along and cross the creek at will. My feet stay dry and warm.

They fit me as expected. Very comfortable. And I could put my custom orthotics in them too which was an extra bonus.

I was buying cheap rubber boots from the local farm store but they never lasted more than one wet (snow, mud) season. I was tired of getting my feet(or foot) unexpectedly wet. Been looking for waterproof, comfortable boots that I can pull on and off quickly. Found 'em in these mid-calf chore Muck Boots! They are comfortable & support my feet well. I really like the squared off edge of the lugged soles as they help keep my ankle from turning when I am tramping around in frozen, chopped up pasture. They are worth the money as far as I am concerned. I anticipate a long & happy relationship with them! BTW they are not heavy unless you compare to a tennis shoe. They are boots after all. At first I thought they were going to be a bit large but after wearing a day they are just right.

Love these. Plenty warm and I have really big calves and they fit great! I usually struggle finding muckboots that fit comfortable around my calves

This is my 3rd pair of Muck Boots. My last pair wasn't purchased for winter, but the neoprene uppers and waterproof bottoms made them become my favorite go-to boots for winter chores! I would just put on an extra pair of socks for added warmth in winter if it was bitterly cold. I'm in a snowy northern climate, so this time I bought the chore boots for their heavier duty tread. Since I knew how the last ones fit, and I want to be able to wear extra socks, I got a size 9. I wear an 8.5 dress shoe. My last pair is 6 or more years old, and still useable!

Ordered boots for my wife. She decided to order her exact size rather than compensating for likely thick socks. She decided to get a larger size, and registered return online, printed label and returned. Two days from registering return, the new sizes came! Unbelievable! Absolutely excellent service-we could not be happier. Boots are high quality and wife is very happy, so I am happy.

I read the reviews before purchasing because fit is an issue with me. These are great. Highly recommend getting some if you are cleaning stalls.

These are high quality boots. The souls on them are not cheaply done at all, with proper rubber rather than plastic (like a lot of shoes now). Above the rubber upper is almost a wet suit type material, covering your lower leg which is also water proof. Unlike normal wellies the souls in them are thick and bounce as you walk, they are really comfortable, i could wear them for hours. They are hard wearing, solid and warm.

They fit well and they are a firm fit so are unlikely to slip off in a boggy puddle. On the flip side of that, although not as bad as getting those tight riding boots off, they are harder than regular wellies to take off. A boot puller would probably be helpful.
I can see these being a great boot for those who work in the country and need to wear boots for a longtime. They are easy to clean under a running tap, with a cloth and dry pretty fast too. The mud just seems to slide off, like they are scotch guarded or something.
I know these are more expensive than the average wellie but if you are going to use them regularly they are fantastic and well worth the money.

Fairly comfortable but slightly smaller/tighter than assumed.

I love Much Boots! My husband and I have used them for years around the farm. Unfortunatly my most recent pair was defective, but I didn't notice until after the first big rainfall of the year. There was an issue with the seal on the toe of the boot and my feet were sopping wet! Although upset with this, I was quickly relieved as the customer service from Amazon was 5 star! They were very knowledgeable and helpful regarding the return policy. This is my first return/exchange after years of purchasing on Amazon, so I'm very impressed with this 5 star service!! A new pair of boots is on the way, and free shipping to return the defective product. Thank you so much Amazon, and thank you Muck Boots for making a great product all these years.

I bought the boots for over $150 Canadian I have worn them a handful of times. They fit great and are very comfortable. I see that my boots are pulling apart at the sole. This should not be happening. I see from other reviews that these are very good boots, which is why
I bought them. I don’t believe they should be falling apart after 5-6 wearings. I am very upset about this. My feet now can get wet and I am wearing my trusty $10 Walmart pair. I feel that the company should replace them but I can’t find anywhere to easily make this request on Amazon.

I needed a waterproof boot that was comfortable for walking my dog many kms every day on a dirt road that turns to mud each spring and whenever it rains. This boot turned out to be perfect for my need. It fit well, true to size, was very comfortable to walk in with a padded foot bed. I did not feel all the stones under my feet and the boots kept my feet dry and comfortable. No breaking in period - they fit well right from the start. I did hesitate on the price but I had tried so many other boots that did not feel comfortable and did not last-that I purchased anyway. I do not regret spending the money - they really are comfortable to wear and keep my feet dry .
