Skecher's are always a great purchase. Purchased as a Christmas gift for my S-I-L. He really likes them for his Work shoe. Comfortable and a good buy. Reason I did not and cannot give 5 stars is: When I received them, I had to clean them up. While they were New, with no wear, someone had purchased them, walked on tiny rocks, decided they didn't want them, and then returned them. When I received the shoes I had to take a pen knife and pop each tiny rock out of the cracks in the soles of the shoe before I could gift them. I should have returned them immediately, but I was out of time. If the seller is going to accept a return like this they should have cleaned them up before reselling and re-shipping them! 4 stars is a generous rating.

I am stunned at how great these shoes are. I do a lot of work going in and out of work in and out of the rain, walking across mopped floors etc.. These dealt with more than expect with ice and snow. My feet were toasty and warm for almost 9 hours of working in the cold, walking in and out of my job, into snow. on ice, etc.. My feet didn't start to feel cold until it was 8 degrees outside and into my tenth hour of work. They are water proof and helped navigate the ice much better than a regular pair of shoes. I fell only once walking down a driveway and stepping onto black ice. They aren't "snow shoes" per say, but they really made my life much easier working in the snow.

I love these work shoes. They look great, and feel great... for maybe 2 or 3 consecutive days. I'm not blaming the product, I'm sure someone with normal feel wouldn't have the same problem, but for some reason after a couple days of wearing them my toes start to hurt. The composite toe feels like it's not quite as wide as the body of the shoe, which is annoying since the shoe is supposed to be XW. But, like I said, I may be the only person with this problem, and unless you also have obscenely wide feet, you will probably be just fine in these stylish, sleek, and ultimately cozy shoes.

My boyfriend has hard to fit feet and he loves these!! He walks all day on concrete and barely sits down. Thank you for fast delivery, a great product and A QUIET BOYFRIEND!!! lol he cant complain now.....

I already knew I wouldn't like the insoles before I bought these, I've never liked sketchers implementation of memory foam. Usually that's not an issue because they pull out pretty easy. Not on these shoes, there's a dab of industrial hot glue holding them down, making it nearly impossible to remove them without damaging the bottom of the insole. So, that's what happened. The bottom of each insole was destroyed upon removal, but worse still I had to remove the bits that stuck to the bottom of the shoe with pliers.

So there's problem one. Problem two comes (and this was something I noticed before excising the memory foam insoles) when I put these on for the first time. I noticed that the room vertical to my toes was quite large, but the lateral area was fairly snug. What this led to is a sort of reverse flip flop effect that caused my big toe to rub against the hard (composite? Alloy?) toe. The otherwise lack of any built in arch support also didn't help. All in all this made for a very uncomfortable shoe. I only made it through around 5 hours of my work day before I had to switch them out for my old shoes.

If you've had good luck with Sketchers before, you might have luck with these, or if you enjoy their memory foam you can at least try these and see for yourself if they're good. Because I damaged them, I cannot return them, and that's a real shame.

Super comfortable, the memory foam its a great plus, felt comfortable from first second, not like other shoes that would take three or four days to start getting in shape, I have only have them for 5 days, so far great experience. I use them 12-14 hours standing on concrete on a manufacturing plant.

UPDATE: I now have a couple hundred miles on these and they are wonderful. My only complaint is the treads are starting to rip and tear, but they are still usable (See Photos). We will see how much longer the treads will last...

UPDATE: I have about 100 miles on these shoes, and I like these a lot! It took about a week for my foot to fully adjust to these, which is more of an issue with my previous boots. I have seen no excessive signs of wear or damage thus far as other reviewers have stated. The laces are a bit long, but I would rather them be long than too short.

Currently, I am rating these safety shoes three stars. As I wear them more then I will update this review, and change the rating appropriately. I have worn these for about a week, and have about 40 miles on them thus far, my feet are still adjusting from my Keen's that I have been wearing. I have noticed a few pressure points when I am wearing these, despite having ordered a half size larger than my normal size. If I had ordered a full size larger, I think these pressure points would not be there. Also, once my feet adjust to these, hopefully the pressure points will subside. This is the style of safety shoe that I have been looking for, which is a safety shoe that is first a comfortable shoe, which also provides the protection that I need for work. These have a composite toe, and are Electrically Hazard (EH) rated. I do a lot of standing and walking at work, usually 6 to 12 miles a day, on cement floors, and asphalt surfaces outside. This is primarily an indoor type safety shoe, ideal for warehouse workers. The snug fit, makes the shoe more comfortable, but you will probably need to buy a full size larger than what you normally wear. The portion of the shoe near the ankle, actually goes slightly above the ankle, which I like because it provides a bit more stability than my previous work shoes ( KEEN Utility Men's Albany Composite Toe Work Shoe,Black/Bossa Nova,12 D US ). The Sketchers do not have a shank, steel or otherwise, which allows the shoe to flex like a normal shoe, but if you step on a nail, it will go right through the sole. The memory foam insoles are very comfortable when you aren't standing on them. That is when they feel best. After you have been on your feet awhile, the memory foam compresses and doesn't provide the same amount of cushion. Although they are still comfortable.

On the negative side, the tread is really for indoor wear. I wore these in the snow, and there isn't much traction. The treads quickly get packed with snow, ice and salt. Additionally, the cold goes right through the soles on these shoes. I shoveled a small portion of the driveway yesterday for about 15 minutes, and it took two hours for my feet to warm back up with the shoes on.

This I would not recommend.. they wore out with I believe 2 months which has never happened with any other work boots .. I’ve also messaged and have yet to have a reply

Quality work boot but the toe cap was to narrow for me.apart from that very good.

Ordered for my husband. He needed something with some ankle support. We both work in a factory with cement floors and walk around 11 kls a night. He has a couple of pairs of more expensive shoes that were comfortable but by the end of the night his feet hurt. Bought a half size larger as he always does with this brand. They fit his orthotics perfectly. His feet no longer hurt. Not the best looking work boots but they work very well.
