First, I must say that these shoes arrived quite timely for me within days after spraining my foot. For hobbling and limping with/without crutches, I really appreciated being able to feel the ground better through the leather than with regular cushioned-soled shoes. I had minimal swelling in the sprained foot and so I was able to get these on both feet without problem. I also wore these shoes at Tai Chi class and found them to be excellent for that use. And lastly, it has come to my attention that it is profoundly beneficial on some level to make skin contact with the earth with as little barrier as possible. But in years past it has been particularly painful to walk barefoot, as I have been wearing shoes since the time I could walk. The sprained foot has been a great opportunity for me to "break the addiction" to standard shoes. Within 2 months I have come to prefer walking in these wonderful little moccasins. They are well made and quite a pleasure to mix with my casual wardrobe. I love them! Also, I am happy to support the Huron-Wendat tribe, and I hope that a great portion of my purchase goes back to that nation.

A note regarding fit: I expect these moccasins to fit loosely, as they are made entirely of soft leather. They have softened and loosened a bit more over time. I normally wear an 8-9 US and the size 8 fits perfectly. A 9 would be too large.

I got these to wear at the gym. I use kettlebells of barbells primarily and was introduced to them barefooted. I wouldn't dream of lifting of swinging or squatting heavy weight with a typical shoe on. When I can, I still prefer bare feet for lifting or kettlebells. There is no match for the sensory feedback the ground provides, but I joined a gym to use on the side that refuses bare feet (still use my barefoot gym primarily)...I must have covered toes. While I admit there is a risk of crushed toes/feet, I didn't really get their fear of flying toes! Anyway, these fit the bill and fit very well, slide on easily, but fit like a glove when weighted and my wider feet flatten further. The tie is mostly aesthetic, but they are cute. Sole is just double thickness, exceptionally soft leather. The whole shoe is very soft, I can roll these up as small as a pair of socks! I would say they could also make exceptional house shoes. If your into grounding, which I use a grounding sheet to successfully reduce inflammation, they would work too. There is no other sole besides the soft leather. The only thing to remember is they run VERY big. I am a 7-7.5 normally. I took advice on-line and ordered a 7 in my first pair. It was huge! (barefoot, no sock) I returned and ordered a 6, not having worn that size since middle school. The 6's fit perfect.

These moccasins are the best. If you like to come home and take your shoes off, put these on and you will be happy. Flat shoes with no support don't work for me, but going barefoot does, strange, I know. But these slipper/moccasins feel so soft and like they are not there at the same time. I would buy again. I wear a 9.5 and bought a 9, they fit perfectly. They may be a tiny bit big, but they stay on very well and feel like I'm not wearing them.

I’m a size 9.5/10 and I have two pair of these: both at size 9 and fit perfectly

Nicely made, took a long time to receive them but worth the wait. Very comfortable.

I like the moccasins, it is soft, and it fits comfortably! The only concern I have is after wearing for an extended period of time, it creates intense color at the bottom of my feet. I wonder if the sole of the shoes have lots of dyes ?? It is supposed to be made of all natural material!!

Love these. Warmth and comfort while feeling barefoot.

Love these! Got them for earthing. It’s like waking barefoot. Lightweight and comfy.

Love! love! love!!these. SO comfortable. Want another pair. Just order 1 size down..fit perfectly
