I spent A LOT of time searching for ankle boots that were insulated and waterproof that didn't lace. Most boots that fit those criteria were over $100 and I was determined to find something well under that. I was thrilled to see these boots priced at $54 for my size (6.5). I ordered them hoping the 6.5 would fit a (since I sometime drift into a 7). |
Based on other reviews, I ordered .5 size down to- 9.5 from my normal (10). If you're not planning on wearing thick socks, I recommend ordering a full size down. I tried a 9 on in the store and they fit perfect with thin socks. the 9.5's fit perfectly & are comfy/warm. Someone said the velcro straps hang on the side when you close them, however, that wasn't the case for me and I have rather small ankles. I like the style and they look very nice with skinny jeans! |
I really like these! I usually wear a 9, and ordered a 8.5 based on other reviews - and I am glad that I did. The 8.5 is still roomy for me. Also, they are very warm and cute. However, we recently got about 12 inches of snow, and the upper part of the boot is not waterproof, so they aren't great for deep snow. Still like them though! |
These boots are perfect. I would buy a 1/2 size smaller than your regular size. I bought a size 8.5. I can usually wear a size 9 in a regular shoe, but that size in this boot would have been too big. I love the velcro, it makes everything so quick to put on and take off shoes. The boots are light weight, which is also great. I don't feel like I'm lifting heavy weights when I'm walking around. I have gotten lots of compliments and have bought a pair for my mom and a mentor who also loved the boots. |
Very cute and comfy. Perfect for spring and fall, they're lightweight and just the right height to keep you warm with out being a full on snow boot. I love the navy ans mustard combo, very classic and not bright or gaudy. Beware as these run an entire size too large. I wear a 6, sometimes a 5.5 but I had to return the 5.5 for a 5. There's no reason this should should run so large. This is not a heavy winter snow boot and its too low to be wearing huge socks that would make up that size difference and thick winder socks don't come this low. Buy a full size down and enjoy your adorable light duty bad weather boots. |
The velcro closure is a great idea, but for an average ankle to fit, there is way too much strap hanging off to the side and sticking out. I couldn't slip the leg of the jeans over the sticking-out straps. Also, I usually wear a size 11, and these were way too big. I ended up buying a different style of Sperry Saltwater boots in size 10, and they fit perfectly. |
Ordered right before a snowstorm and these boots kept my feet dry and comfortable. I would suggest wearing medium weight socks in very cold weather and snow. The velcro straps are heavy duty and stay put, making it easy to get in and out of them. This was important to me as I have mobility issues and cannot handle lace-up style boots. I think these are a great value for a quality product. |
I really like these boots, they are warm and functional. They do run about 1/2 size bigger than normal. I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 and I ordered these in a 7 and they fit perfectly. My only complaint is that they are a bit tricky to get on. I do not have wide feet but it is a very tight fit at the heel of the boot and take some work to get the boot on. These are not a quick slip on pair of boots. I haven't tested them in the wet snow yet, so I can't say how waterproof they are, but I got them on sale for $50 so for that price, I am very happy. |
They fit to size. I ordered a half size larger after reading some of the comments and now a have a boot that’s half a size too big. I even have wide feet. |
I love it.Fits me so well. I am size 9W but I ordered half size less since comments from people said it's half size bigger. I love every inch of this boots. |
