These are my second pair of Dansko Pro shoes. I have severe arthritis in my right ankle and plantar fascists in my left foot. I had been hobbling around using various braces, inserts and shoes recommended by my podiatrist without much relief - until I found these shoes. I now can walk normally, without a limp and without pain. I plan to keep on buying these shoes!

***WARNING*** these are all HANDMADE shoes, so don't expect each shoe (even of the same exact size and style!) to fit the same. It's going to be a total crapshoot if you buy these online, so MAKE SURE THE STYLE YOU CHOOSE HAS FREE RETURN SHIPPING!!!!! Once you find the shoe that fits you perfectly, they're heaven! They're worth the price because they'll take the place of 3-4 other pairs of shoes. These puppies are built to last. I actually went and tried on every pair in 3 different sizes in 4 different stores to find the pair that fit best. Sometimes the size 35 is the same as the same shoe in a size 37, etc, just depends on who made it I guess. Don't forget these sizing guidelines: you should be able to wiggle your toes, the part that crosses over the top of your foot shouldn't be snug, and your heel should slide out a bit when you walk. Do the "kick test" to see if it's too big though (wearing the shoe, make a kicking motion, the shoe should stay on). Good luck to you!

First pair of legit Danskos...I usually wear a 7 so I got the 6.5-7 and they were way too big! There was no way I could walk in them. Returned those to Amazon and got a 5.5-6 from a 3rd party seller. They fit perfectly. The blue medallion is gorgeous, but one of the shoes has damage to the front as soon as I opened them, so not stoked about that. If I pay 100 bucks for shoes I want them to be flawless. Overall I'll give it a 4 I guess.

Depending on the shoe and manufacturer I wear anywhere from a US size 5 to 8 so I chose EU37 for my first pair and I'm wearing them now while at work. These feel a bit too loose so I ordered another pair at EU36 to see how they fit, hopefully it's better but regardless one pair will be returned ha ha.

Update: end of my 12 hour shift, my feet hurt. The soles are not cushioned but that's not a big deal to me. The arches are high and I'm feeling it at the center of the sole of my foot. I'm really hoping that the size EU36 that come in tomorrow fit and feel better otherwise I'm going to be really sad.

Update 2:
My first pair was EU38 in my previous review. The second pair is EU37. I looked at the impressed size in the sole before boxing my return. The difference is unbelievable. The second pair fits perfectly. My feet don't hurt, no longer feel plantar fasciitis, my soles don't burn. I have noticed occasional knee pain and some lower back pain. The bottoms of the clogs are solid and force my feet into a more balanced stride which readjusts how my entire skeleton adapts to keeping my balance which in turn is retraining my muscles and causing the pain. Basically, "breaking in" the shoe. I love them and can't wait to buy more danskos.

These are my first pair of Dansko's. (Recently entered the Veterinary field). They came highly recommended, so I wanted to try them. I'm a size 10 in women's shoes and rarely, but sometimes a size 9 1/2. (I have very long toes). So I ordered the 9.5-10 size and tried them on with a thin compression sock, they were so tight and uncomfortable. I sent them back and exchanged for a 10.5-11 size which fit better. Unfortunately I will not be ordering this brand again in the future. There's no arch support, they feel like they weigh 10lbs each and I am constantly rolling my ankle in them. If I'm on my knees or squatting, there's no bend in the toe area and my feet become quite painful after a minute or two. Also they are horribly uncomfortable when just standing. I did receive many compliments on their appearance, so they have that going for them. My Skechers are way more comfortable so I'll just stick to them and wear these when I need to look presentable for something at work.

I still can’t really decide how I feel about these. I purchased the color Cotton Candy, size 39 (usually US women’s size 8.5-9). It took about 4 weeks (AKA 12 shifts) for my feet to partially accept these shoes. I’ve worn them for about 4 months now and for the most part, they aren’t bad. Overall, the bottom of my feet and my legs don’t hurt after 12.5+ hour shift, which is a huge plus. My main issue is these shoes cause my toes and the top of my feet to hurt, a lot. They really don’t allow for much stretch my toes just can’t wait to be able to curl again after a long shift. They cause indents on the top of my feet as well and they don’t leave much room for swelling after a long shift. For as much money as I spent, I will not purchase this brand again. I dread putting them on in the morning knowing the top of my foot will be in a good amount of pain by the end of the shift. I do believe I have a higher arch and this may be why my feet don’t get along with these shoes.

The last pair of Danskos ran tight and short, gave them to another cook who’s other shoes died. I got these to roam around it and I swim in them. They arrived and I put the box in my room, started a remodel project they got buried and when I found them and tried them on they are big. I put on my heavy wool socks and my foot still slips inside. I really wish I could of returned them but is was 12 weeks later.
My sanitas also run differently but are more comfortable on concrete floors.

I have worn tennis shoes, without issues, for the last few years of my nursing career. I developed plantar fasciitis for unknown reasons. I was hesitant about buying clogs for fear of tripping, the shoes constantly slipping off, and the material being too hard.
I have thin feet. Somehow the shoes are secure on my feet! I trip sometimes, but that's just me and heels. My feet are no longer painful and I've received many compliments on this particular design!
I advise first time buyers to try clogs on in a store that way you can be correctly sized and you can get a feel of the shoe.

Love my danskos, just wish these had some vent holes as they get way warmer than the leather ones

I love how they fit on my feet. You can feel the support on the arch.

Love at first site! Great fit love how comfortable they are great arch support and I enjoy the added height!

Buy the shoe a size bigger then what you normally wear. Material is Stiff. Hope they will soften a bit :) But very happy. Nice fit and
