I ordered these shoes in both colors, because I've recently needed to get larger shoes & the price was great. I'm usually a size 10M, but I have rheumatoid arthritis & frequently get pitting edema too. I need orthotic footbeds for my RA feet - the connective tissue has become stretched out creating a flat foot as soon as I stand up & I need extra room for my RA deformed toes (hammer toes). I find Earth brand to run kind of snug on my "new" feet & wish they made 10.5M shoes, but they don't, so I went with 11M & these fit great with room for normal dress socks. I have plenty of toe room, no rubbing of the hammer toes or rubbing on the big toe.

My feet run more narrow than wide, so Earth brand fits me well. I would suggest sizing up half a size if you plan to wear with socks or have wider feet. If you are a true wide foot, I'm not sure these would be all that comfortable, but definitely size up if you want to try anyway. The shoes are very well made & look classy. So comfortable, although I've only worn them around the house & on one short outing, but I will edit review if need be. They don't make my feet look big either! I'd like a black patent leather in this!

The Bat is a medium to dark brown, it looked wine or burgundy in the description, but it is just plain brown in real life. The black is really black, I hate blacks that look charcoal or blue. I was worried the stretchy band would look cheap, or stupid, but it honestly doesn't stand out at all & is very functional as well. Easy to slip on too, an added bonus!!

I wear a size 8 med/narrow I would have say these fit on the more narrow side! The price was a no brainer and the quality and arch support are what I love about Earth Origins one star off because there no details ! Aww

Tight across the top of the foot. Tried for a week or so to stretch them out. They are now retired: added to the pile of other new shoes that are too painful to wear.

These shoes are very comfortable. I have a wider foot and bought an 8 and they fit great!

Shoe is hard on the feet

These shoes are very comfortable and you can wear with socks. Could be worn with dresses or pants or leggings. Ordered in brown also.

I am a fan of earth shoes. The price was lower on Amazon ,loved the shoes ordered two pair.
