I have large feet, and health concerns that prohibits me from wearing a cheap store shoes. And as much as I hate having to purchase any footwear without trying them on, I don't have that option. Local retailers do not believe in women with feet larger than a size 7 B, so I shuffled off to Amazon and did some research. My all time favorite brand of shoe, Naturalizer, touted this Fiorenze shoe as one of the most comfortable in their line. Well, I am here to tell you that this is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The leather is soft, the heel height is perfect for someone like me with sciatica (just the right height and nicely balanced) and the color is rich. I have a bunion on one foot (from cramming my feet into smaller, less accommodating shoes/boots because they were pretty and/or cheaper to buy when I was younger and more foolish.
I have narrow heels and a wide toe box so finding shoes online to fit are an issue for me...really a nightmare. If I get the shoe in wide width, then my heel comes out. If I get them to fit just in the heel, then the toe box is too tight. These fit really good! There is a little play in the heel yet a little snug in the toes but comfortable. I don't stand on my feel a lot so I can't vouch for the overall "wear-ability" . I am not crazy about the "glazing" technique at the toe box. Not sure what kind of style they were going with...maybe a worn in look? Anyway, it doesn't really work and it should have either been done all over or not at all. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.
Rubber soles peeled off in chunks. Heel rubber peeled off, too, so I can't wear them to work anymore. Really comfortable, so I'm very disappointed.
Purchased for my 77 year young Mom. She LOVES this shoe. The padding of the shoe is not only on the inside but also on the heel in the back of the shoe! The bottom of the shoe is unbelievable in comfort and safety from any slipping. Mom did not want to take them off because they are so comfortable. But you just shouldn't wear shoes to bed at night!!
I love this shoe and I only ordered it because I have a brown pair that I literally wore out. but I was disappointed that as soon as I got it a little wet that the glue didn't hold and the bottom started to come apart. This shoe is so comfortable that you can wear it forever the first day. Very sad about the glue...... It's hard to find a shoe that fits that well.
The first pair I bought had an imperfection (some matted up thread with hard glue over it) in the right shoe that caused painful rubbing on my foot. I liked them otherwise so returned and bought a second. The second pair had some excess glue pushed out where the sole and flexible material met. This isn't too noticeable but aesthetically just looks sloppy. I kept them and have been very happy with them otherwise.
I've been looking for a nice walking shoe for the city travel that didn't look like a tennis shoe. Other loafers slipped off on the back cuz they were too loose in the back. I bought 1/2 size down from my normal size and a wide width. My foot is a little wide. This shoe fit me snugly and no slipping when worn with a thin sock. No discomfort and I could walk around with this shoe that gives good support and cushion. Very happy with the price and quality of this shoe.
I am a big fan of Naturalizer shoes. But, this shoe was not as comfortable as other Naturalizer shoes I've purchased. The soul of the shoe is rather thin and leaves very little arch support, which I look for and generally find in Naturalizers. I work on a university campus and walk a lot. These shoes leave my feet hurting by the end of the day. I'm going to stick with Naturalizer, but find another style.
A little tight in width ... still trying to wear them in two months on :(
