These shoes are incredibly good quality and really nice trendy but classic shoes. My only problem with them is that in the description it says they run half a size large so figured it best to order down a half size as they should no. I am so sorry I did. They are half a size too small now! I am trying to stretch them as I can't return them but you should be able to trust their descriptions so ORDER YOUR REGULAR SIZE.

Just an update. These shoes could not be stretched given the way they are made, which is extremely well, so have had to find another owner for them. So be VERY careful choosing the right size.

Product description said these run half size large. I disagree - ordered 2 sizes and kept my normal size. Actually I also ordered a pair of Sperry's. Tried Sperry's first and it felt like a relief to slip into these after Sperry's. Marc Joseph shoes have good arch support, feel very soft. Don't have to worry about breaking them in. Great quality. Navy color is very dark, almost black.

The red pair is really more of a very dark vermilion in color or even a dark coral (I want to say carnelian but they are brighter than that). Wish they were the 'true' blue-based red pictured on my screen rather than a warmer red.

Also, I usually wear a women's 10 and these 10s require a thick sock to not slip off the heel. I can't wear a thinner trouser sock with them.

They spot and discolor alarmingly in the rain but they dried-out quickly and that faded away. Otherwise, very padded sole and comfy. 4 of 5 despite the inconveniences.

I have been looking high and low for a true red , comfortable, well made loafer. Though when I receive the loafer it wasn't as red as the picture looks, it was so comfortable at first I wanted to send it back but as I walked around in the shoe I just couldn't I believe it's one of the best loafers I have ever purchased I even had to go back online and purchase the navy blue pair ! I recommend this loafer very much ! Though the color on the red is not a deep blood red the comfort surpasses that point .

I purchased the Marc Joseph NY Women's Fashion Shoes in size 6 since the size information said the shoes run 1/2 size larger. They fits perfectly with a little room, not much, in the toes area. This is good because your feet will swell a little when you walk a lot. They are very light and look good. I am planning on wearing them on vacation. The price is cheaper on Amazon then sales in major retail store. Still, I wish they are a little cheaper, I can buy one more pair.

These shoes are not as comfortable as I expected. I had a problem with the metal accessories keep pressing on my feet after a while, and it hurts badly. I cannot walk long with these shoes, after 1 mile, it is usually start hurting. I am still trying to break it, but so far, no luck yet. I do have a wide feet, and that might be the caused.

Love my shoes! Bought a black pair and liked it so much, bought a white pair too. It works for casual as well as dress up. Strangers ask about them and I just say Marc Joseph

I am a lover of Marc Joseph NY brand. This is my 4th or 5th pair of loafers. They fit well (with just a bit of tightness in the toes, but I think that will ease up after a bit of wear). They're sharp, comfy, extremely well made and I just love them! They're perfect with jeans or dress pants. Definitely a good purchase.
