Stay flirty and feminine in the floral-embellished blossom vegan flat. Our signature memory foam foot bed will keep you comfortable all day, while the all-terra traction outsoles provide superior grip.
These shoes are comfortable (once they break in a little near the heel,) which is a little stiff, as it should be with a semi sturdy shoe that gives moderate support. So if you were them without socks like I do, you might want to break them in slowly. The are cute, not all that sophisticated, but are more of an everyday wear type of shoe. They have traction like an athletic shoes, in fact better than some, even more so than Keen's, I would say. I also like Keens, but they are a heavier, less attractive, clunkier shoe. That being said, a Keen in probably better for hiking than these shoes are, but they make a nice walking shoe on level ground, pavement, concrete, etc. and provide some cushiness with the memory foam inserts. I have these in different models and colors for variety, and they are inexpensive enough to buy a couple pairs. I'm not sure how long they last. Just as a comparison to a popular shoe, I'll choose Keen's again, they are probably going to break down long before those shoes do, of course they are not washable like Keens are, either. Just an all around practical choice for me. I have average width feet, possible bordering on the wider side, rather than narrow side. I went up 1/2 size in my old age (now 60) here. I have heard one's feet to get larger as we age/settle a bit, but it's probably more like I don't try to make my feet look as small as possible anymore, (ha, ha.) I wear a nine, on the roomier side. In most shoes I wear an 8.5 to 9, rarely to never a 9.5, 39 otherwise, never a 39.5 if that helps. The first style pair of these I got a couple years ago seemed to run on the smaller side, but now I think they are pretty true to size. If you are in between I would recommend going up 1/2 size rather than down, because some 9's on me are actually even roomier than these are. Hope that helps, if you like my review, please push like so I know I am doing something right, and if not, sorry if it falls short. BTW, I did not receive any free shoes, or discounts, and have no ties to this company in any way.
These are well-constructed and sturdy shoes. They are also extremely attractive - definitely a win-win. I know I will get years of service from them. They are rather stiff at first and may require a longer break-in time than usual. For those of you with wide feet, I wouldn't recommend wearing them for the first time on a day when you will be on your feet for most of the time. Once they are allowed to conform to your feet, however, they are perfect. This has become my favorite type of shoe: rugged and textured sole, wide toebox, and a cute upper with thoughtful details.
Normally wear a 10B shoe, wish I'd ordered a 10-1/2B for these. Not too small to warrant the effort of a return, but not a terribly comfortable shoe to begin with, so being a tad on the small side just adds to the discomfort that makes these my 2nd or 3rd choice of casual shoes for the day. The 2nd time I wore them was a warmer day and my feet became a bit swollen, so I loosened the velcro closure on the strap. This made them slightly more comfortable even on days when my feet don't swell, but now they make that flip-flop sound when I walk because the straps aren't snug. Someone else said they take a longer than usual break-in time period - if they become more comfortable over time I'll update this review and add a star.
These run a little on the small and narrow side. They are very comfy. I have 4 pairing different colors and styles.
I always get a chuckle from the description of "vegan" leather. They're plastic. However, that makes me comfortable using these for gardening. The style is cute , the cement color is okay. I like the combination of flowers and tread. Nice casual look without looking masculine. Many compliments. A little pricey for plastic.
I now have 3 pairs of this great JBU shoe. I first bought a pair in light blue from Macy's on sale for under $50, and was very happy with them. Recently bought a pair in black on Amazon, and then saw the blush color and really wanted them for summer. The blush color is beautiful. And, these shoes are great. True to size, great support and memory foam makes them comfortable. Usually take a few brief wears to break in. Hold up really well. A sturdy shoe that is great for running errands or taking walks. The cross straps are much more comfortable, and I think more attractive, than traditional Mary Jane strap.
I really love the design and the comfort of these shoes. When I first started wearing them they rub up against the back of my ankle so bad that they give me blisters, I almost gave up on them, I started wearing them with thick socks for a couple weeks and eventually they broke in just fine and now I wear them without socks all the time. I almost hated them because of the sores in the beginning but now they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes
Very comfortable shoes! They have decent traction and my toes have plenty of room. The footbed is soft and supportive. They are lightweight so I can wear them all day without any problem or feel fatigued. I'm glad I found this brand. This is my second pair of JBU. The first pair I bought was a Mary Jane style and a lighter color that I'd purchased just a couple of weeks prior.
Good grip soles, good support, love the flowers. I would have liked the red to be darker - it is more cherry than deep red but is true to the online pics.
I put an insole into the shoe and it fits much better. I like to wear it without socks sometimes. Comfortable and very cute. Straps are a little stiff because it's not leather, but I'm ok with that.
LOVE these shoes so much. Fit, comfort, support, colour, everything is perfect. I want them in every colour now!
Love these shoes! So comfy. My feet were a bit hot but not too bad.
These are great! Wonderful for hiking as they have the bumper at the front so you protect your toes!
