My favorite sneakers of all, love love love them. Great for walking in ,completely comfortable from Day 1 so no breaking in necessary, they wash beautifully in the washer (wash with something like a towel bath mat so they don't bang around too much), and air dry them (although I think you could probably dry in the dryer if you wanted to). They seem very long lasting as mine still look great after more than a year and lots of wearing. I have several colors and like them all (black, grey, and a nice dark blue).

The Chuck Taylor Dainty Ox style is much more comfortable than the regular Ox you see everywhere, subtly less clunky looking and more feminine. I get comments all the time from people who know they are Chuck Taylors, but they don't know about the Dainty version, and everyone likes them a lot. I normally wear a size 8, and the 8 fits perfectly. However, when I tried the regular Ox I noticed I took a smaller size in that one so the fit is different between the two Ox styles. I think what makes these sneakers so much more comfortable is the the lace front and tongue area doesn't come up as far....the Dainty just goes up for 5 lace holes and the sneaker stops in front at a comfortable place on the foot, whereas the regular Ox has 6 lace holes and that brings the tongue and shoe up way too far on my foot, hitting almost where my ankle bends, which means walking a lot would eventually become irritating. I have a high arch, so that might affect things with my particular feet. In any case, I love the Dainty but would not buy the regular Ox style.

I buy Chucks often from offline and enjoy the fit/comfort. These are still as cute as ever, but the rivets cut into the top of your foot and when worn with socks (to protect top of foot) rub against your toes. This version isn't good for shopping/running errands in either. Max time in shoe for comfort is about 2 ½ hours.
Suggest going offline or getting a half size bigger than your normal Chuck size.

Three stars for 2 reasons:
1) This "Dainty" version is just that. I assumed it would be less clunky than the original Converse, and it was. But it was also very, very narrow. I do not have wide feet, have never bought a wide shoe in my life, and these would not be comfortable for long. Felt like my foot might bust loose at any moment.
2) I ordered the "charcoal" color, expecting it to be a few shades lighter than black. The picture suggests that. In real life, very much a brown-grey color.

I ended up returning. I'll go back to my clunky ol' Chucks.

I bought these shoes after I purchased a pair of converse that I love from a local retailer. The price was good and I was looking to expand my converse wardrobe. I received the shoes in a timely fashion. The box they were packaged in was pretty beat up, but the shoes were in good condition. I ordered my typical shoe size. The shoes did not feel as sturdy as the converse I currently own. The minute I put the shoes on they squeezed my toes together so tight I had instant pain in my foot. My other converse are so comfortable. I knew there was no "breaking in" these shoes, so I sent them in for a refund. The refund process was quick and easy, but I won't order converse by mail again.

I've worn regular unisex Converse for years, but since I'm a women's size 9, it seemed like Converse made my feet look huge. I initially scoffed at the word "dainty" in the description of these shoes, but I really love them. They're very similar to classic Converse but appear to have less rubber around the sole, which I really appreciate.

I typically wear 6.5 in womens shoes. I have to go down two and a half for converse if I am purchasing male converse. I always get size 4 cause going doing two sizes doesn't work. For women, I would suggest if you are say a 4 in women usually get a 3.5 because it runs a tad smaller than expected, about half a size. Another thing is the sole on the shoe is thinner than other converse. I like that style some may not! Overall extremely satistified with product!

Not sure if these are real , I have the same pair (dainty style) In grey and they fit 100% differently. The toe box is much smaller in this white pair - they have slight cosmetic differences too, hence why I’m not certain they are authentic.

Had to return it unfortunately :( Runs way too large, at least a full size large and they didn't have a smaller size. But the item itself looked great and customer service was great and no issues returning it.

Love the colour of these converse.

Fantastic trainer- shoes! They're on the generous side ( as a fit), but that's great. I love the anthracite colour too- unusual; lovely for Autumn :)

The colour was a bit different from the picture. They appear to be a grey/green colour in some lights. I compared them to grey ones in a few stores and they are a little different. Not a bad colour, just not quite as advertised.

Good quality sneakers.

I ordered a size 6 and was sent 5.5. The shoes did fit perfectly though so I assume that the suppliers knew that they came up large.
