Brands:Visit the Merrell Store
I ordered these to be house shoes with support. These aren’t cheap and it’s worth reading several reviews to set your expectation.
Nice look and very nice color (in Ice), but the fit is small for a Merrell Size 8. I returned the size 8 and ordered Size 8 ½, which are also very snug. Maybe they will stretch over time. Edited to add: even the 8 ½ is narrow both in the toe and at the back of the arch. No, I don't have fat and swollen feet. The footbed is hard. The fleecy insert is useless and pulls out each time I take off the shoe. I eventually removed them and replaced them with Size 8 Merrell medium width inserts to provide a tiny bit of cushion. The size 8 insert barely fits in the shoes but worked to make these shoes wearable but not with the thinnest cotton socks.
This was my fifth purchase of a Merrell product so I am no stranger to the brand. I bought the same size as I have always bought. When I received these I tried them on and they fit perfect but after wearing them for two days my feet are extremely uncomfortable. If I had bought these in a brick and mortar store I probably would have tried on a larger size for comparison. I think the problem is with the thick lining and it makes the shoe too snug. They feel wonderful when you first try them on but after walking on them that snugness is not a good thing. Too late to return for me, so buyer beware.
Color matches my cherry hardwood floors and is more brown than red. Otherwise these are perfect. Insole is faux sheepskin, upper lining is real sheepskin. You can get Uggs sheepskin insoles later when these faux ones breakdown.
Disappointed again... needed to go half size up which helped but still had ball of foot pain & made my legs ache after wearing around the house. They felt tight and restricted even with thin socks. After a few hrs I couldn’t wait to get these off - not a good sign, so back they go...
These are GREAT SHOES!! Must be the fifth or sixth pair I’ve purchased. Black brown plum grey red. Having a fairly narrow foot it was good to learn that Merrell women’s run a bit narrow. These help with balance (for me) while being comfortable and stylish foot ware for most occasions. Cute with jeans slacks casual skirts and dresses. Fleece lining keeps feet warm and securely seated. Highly recommend this shoe.
These are pricey, but perfect for me. I use these as slippers. I am in and out with the pets frequently - these are sturdy.
Very comfortable shoe but disappointed. They have a very strong chemical smell. Hoping it wears off. I pulled the insole out to see if this is were the smell is coming from but it is hard to tell since the whole shoe smells. The insole is a thin piece of plastic with fake fur sew onto it. After only wearing for 2 hours there was visible wear on the insole. Having doubts about how long this will last. For the price I think the insole is very cheap.
Way, way, way more comfortable than I was anticipating. I have two pairs of blundstones that I usually wear in the winter for work. These ice clogs are the most comfortable shoes I own. I kind of scoffed at the name of “ice clogs”. They didn’t really seem like a suitable winter shoe. Was I ever wrong! Unless you are in deep snow, these suit the purpose great. I will order again. I would prefer leather to suede for durability when it comes to salt though.
I had a pair of these for THIRTEEN YEARS. They were wearing out, but I got new sheepskin insoles a few years ago and they were like new again. My favourite pair of shoes, hands down. My husband originally bought them for me so that I didn't have to bend down to tie boots the winter I was pregnant, but I wore (and happily wear my new ones) almost daily through the cold weather months.
This is my third pair over many years, and they are awesome! Nice high arch support, I don't have to wear my orthotics when I wear these. Thick furry insides which feel incrediable on the toes. Super sturdy and comfortable, will buy more!
Purchased these for my wife for Christmas, Tied them on in local retaill outlet and found that based upon the fur lining its best to order one size up which we did. amazon porice was approx. $64.00 cheaper that retail store, plus no tax. Great buy for this name brand footwear.
My floors are cold, no carpet, and these are the solution however, the price is a bit outrageous for slippers... but my feet are more important.
