Let me just say that as someone who has really (REALLY) wide feet, it’s ALWAYS a struggle to find nice shoes that fit comfortably and don’t look terrible on my feet.
IVe been wearing Skechers for years because they were the only shoes that were decent looking, recently added memory foam and were wide enough for my feet. This pair, however, was significantly narrower, even when purchased as a wide width”, so much so that it feels like I’m teetering in the soles when I walk and it flares my plantar fasciitis. Considering I had problems with the second pair I purchased for my tween as well (THEY were wider than these wide widths but the lining ripped out and holes developed in the heels after one week) I feel like I flushed over a hundred dollars down the drain when I couldn’t afford to. Sick to my stomach.
Sweet jesus, I finally found a comfy pregnancy shoe. I usually wear a 7.5M but because my feet and ankles are swollen to the point of resembling loaves of bread, the 8.5W fits like a dream. Very comfortable. I only wish I could easily bend down to tie them but that's what husbands are for, right?
These shoes are comfortable! I am in the medical field, and I'm on my feet a lot, and I also have spinal stenosis. These shoes really keep my back from hurting, and my feet from hurting. I don't feel fatigued when I get home. People will tell you to spend 100$ and up on Alegrias, or Nurse Mates, but these simple sketchers do the job just fine! They're also cute on your foot!
I buy sketchers every two months. These don’t fit as any others have ever fit. They have a weird sunken in portion of material on top and one shoe has a uncomfortable extra piece of material that rubs a sore spot on the ball of my foot. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they are cute colors. I would return but I tossed the box immediately at the post office and wore them. See the photo.
I don't like clomping around the house in my rather heavy New Balance walking shoes, and I didn't feel like changing my house slippers to go outside to grab the mail or take the dog out, so I bought these because I thought they'd be lighter, and they are. They are also very comfortable and spongy/bouncy (in a good way) so I find I'm actually wearing my slippers less because I don't need to change. I like them so much I bought a second pair to put away in my closet for future use when these eventually wear out. I hate finding the perfect thing and then discovering that it has been discontinued (or badly "improved") when I need to replace it and I would definitely want to replace these when they wear out. Love 'em.
I'm not sure if it is just this model or if sketchers has decided to cut back on quality. Either way, these shoes showed significant signs of wear after just one month. At two months, the insides were so worn that they started causing blistering. Unfortunately they were the only pair of shoes I had so I had to continue wearing them. Now, the insides are pretty much nonexistent. The funny thing is, the insides are completely worn out after just a few months, but the outside still looks prestine. If you only care if your shoes LOOK good, then these will be fine for you. If you want a good pair of shoes you're going to be able to wear for a while, look elsewhere. I bought these shoes because I had finally worn down an old pair of sketchers after a year and a half. In comparison, these were a total waste of money.
I have been a huge Go Walk fan for years but I have never had good luck with Skechers tennis shoes. I was looking for a pair of walking/jogging shoes, however, and decided to give these a try based on the number of positive reviews. Turns out I love these almost as much as my Go Walks! The are cute, comfortable, and seem to be well-made. They are light weight yet sturdy and I love the cushiony tread. I walk/jog a 5k almost every day and the memory foam in these shoes keeps my feet from hurting. There was a small break in period for the memory foam inside of the shoe, as it did not (initially) seem as though it was going to be supportive enough. That said, after about 2 days at the track, the shoes fit perfectly and felt great. We’re headed to Disney World soon and I would feel comfortable wearing these shoes in the park knowing that our family walks an average of 12 miles per day.
I'm a UK size 7 and these fit perfectly. So comfortable and light, just like wearing slippers! I've received so many compliments when wearing these!!
Loved the trainers but had to send back as too large got a size 6 as thats my size in others like nike but a size 5.5 would of been best
Nice looking trainers, but unfortunately had to return as it was too large and couldn’t get any smaller.
Not as exciting a design as I've bought in this style of sketchers before, but still the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. This pair came up slightly larger than ones I've had before (not sure why that would be!) but not so large as to require going down a size - I just wear them with slightly thicker socks and it's fine.
Shouldn't all trainers be a wide fit? Wear them straight out the box happily. Who knew!
