30°C, wool blend lining
Over the years, PAJAR has developed and implemented techniques to improve their high quality boots. With the addition of a patented insulating mid-sole (Iso-Lana) made up of small air bubbles between layers of aluminum, felt, and wool, Pajar boots can withstand severe cold up to -74 degrees Celsius. All seams are tape-sealed and the adhesive construction further ensures the waterproof quality of the boots. PAJAR boots are produced in a wide range of styles, materials, and colours to keep up with fashion trends. They are advertised in consumer fashion magazines and have become a necessity for trendsetters.
To get a jump on the winter season, I wanted some good boots for hiking through snow and cold. They had to be warm/insulated, waterproof, and in a perfect world, look good. These seem to fit the bill.
I FRIGGEN LOVE THESE BOOTS!!!!!!!!! Comfy, warm, unique & stylish! Every time I wear them I get compliments or asked what type of boot they are.
Love the look of the boots! At first I didn't think that they were as warm as perhaps my super fuzzy "ugg" type boots were, but after giving them a chance I give them a thumbs up. I found that if I was outside for a few hours in the cold and went indoors my feet would get too warm if I left them on! I usually wear a 7.5, so I sized up based on other reviewers. I'm glad I sized up because I can wear a thicker sock and also slip them on rather than lacing/unlacing them to get them on and off. My only gripe, which might be because I got them slightly larger, is that when I drive they feel a bit uncomfortable. The back heel "cup" area is hard, so when my feet are on the brake & gas pedal after a long drive the top part of the heel cup sort of digs into the back of my ankle. Oh, and some other reviewers mentioned them being tight in the calf area, which was a concern for me, as I don't have overly thin calves, but they fit just fine - matter of fact I would almost say they are more roomy in the calf area than other boots I've owned.
My feet are warm & dry - that's saying a lot when it comes to Alaska weather! The boots fit true to proper boot size (ie. A little extra wiggle room). For reference, I wear a 9.5, and the 9/9.5 size is perfect. I would say size down sooner than sizing up if you're on the fence. I've worn these in ice, snow, and slush every day since I got them and they're great. The laces are easy to tighten and loosen, and the boot is easy to slip on. Only complaint is that the ankle area of the left boot tends to bunch up on me, but oddly, only when I lace the boots tightly.
Wide calf ladies rejoice!!!! I love these boots! They are comfy and warm with plenty of room for thick socks. ( I wear and 8 and got the 8/8.5). The best thing is that these super cute boots fit over my calves! This is always a problem for me as my calves measure 16 inches at their widest. I am so happy and have gotten several compliments already. Bring on the snow! I haven't had a chance to test the waterproof-ness yet, but I am feelIng confident. I will update if I need to.
Great boots. Cute, practical, good sole with lots to treads. I wear a size 8.5 in most shoes and size 39 in these boots were perfect. I don't like my boots big. I also have a pair if size 9 Sorels and they are clob hoppers on me and my feet move around (and they freeze). These pajar boots have a nice lining (no liner). I'm testing them out in three days at an outdoor event in Minnesota where the daytime high is supposed to be 12 degrees. The event is at 8pm, so I'll update this post after the event to let you know if my feet stay warm.
Bought these to wear in Iceland in March. Still a little too hot in Georgia. :) They are comfortable and I can wear socks with them. Hopefully, they will be waterproof and warm. They are a really cute boot! Love the way they look.
Perfect boot for commuters and also for running around doing errands. I'm on my third Chicago winter with these boots and they have kept my feet warm during polar vortex and they also are waterproof! They have held up well and continue to do the job!
