Over the years, PAJAR has developed and implemented techniques to improve their high quality boots. With the addition of a patented insulating mid-sole (Iso-Lana) made up of small air bubbles between layers of aluminum, felt, and wool, Pajar boots can withstand severe cold up to -74 degrees Celsius. All seams are tape-sealed and the adhesive construction further ensures the waterproof quality of the boots. PAJAR boots are produced in a wide range of styles, materials, and colours to keep up with fashion trends. They are advertised in consumer fashion magazines and have become a necessity for trendsetters.

To get a jump on the winter season, I wanted some good boots for hiking through snow and cold. They had to be warm/insulated, waterproof, and in a perfect world, look good. These seem to fit the bill.

As you ladies know, the size-fit depends on the shoe/boot. I normally wear 8 1/2 to in flats and flip-flops, and a 9 in heels, when it comes to active footwear, it's good to go a half-size bigger to let your feet and toes expand, but with WINTER boots, we ladies have a real problem! Do we "Go big" to allow for a sock liner (Usually a light athletic sock) AND thick wool socks, or do we go for the petite look? Well, I swallowed my pride and sense of style and went with function over form... and I think I made the right choice!

The boots look great, stylish (Considering how I'll be using them) and they seem well made. I tried the on with BOTH a sock liner and thick wool socks and the larger size allowed just enough room for the socks and room for my toes to wiggle. That's important in snow and ice because tight boots in cold weather, particularly in a survival situation, can only escalate frostbite and THAT could potentially cause your toes to be amputated... THEN what do you do with all those strappy shoes?!?!

I FRIGGEN LOVE THESE BOOTS!!!!!!!!! Comfy, warm, unique & stylish! Every time I wear them I get compliments or asked what type of boot they are.

I thought they were very stylish but sort of funky looking & questioned if they would look right on me... I didn't care, I just wanted somewhat stylish, warm & waterproof boots that would fit over my very large calves (I'm 6'0" tall & have very muscular legs, which on top of being a larger sized person its nearly impossible to find cute boots that aren't ridiculously wide calf like in some plus size stores & yuck looking) - THESE fit the bill.

Once they arrived, I questioned if they would fit, they fit great, even if my calf was a little larger, the lacing over the sewn in un-bulky tongue allows them to be tightened as much as needed to fit, the tongue can be bunched up under the lacing without being uncomfortable. I Love the very fitted foot bed, it fits like & is as comfortable as a slightly stiff athletic sneaker. They are warm for sure & truly, truly waterproof, not just water "resistant". I walk right through ankle high slush puddles in these & don't even bat an eyelash, while everyone else walking walks around huge puddles..... they are sealed all the way up to where the 2nd to top D ring for the laces, water & snow will NOT get in! They're easy to clean too, if they are yucky when I get home, I give the foot part a quick rinse in the tub or sink & set them back by the door. Great boots. These are going to be worth every penny for years to come I imagine!

Love the look of the boots! At first I didn't think that they were as warm as perhaps my super fuzzy "ugg" type boots were, but after giving them a chance I give them a thumbs up. I found that if I was outside for a few hours in the cold and went indoors my feet would get too warm if I left them on! I usually wear a 7.5, so I sized up based on other reviewers. I'm glad I sized up because I can wear a thicker sock and also slip them on rather than lacing/unlacing them to get them on and off. My only gripe, which might be because I got them slightly larger, is that when I drive they feel a bit uncomfortable. The back heel "cup" area is hard, so when my feet are on the brake & gas pedal after a long drive the top part of the heel cup sort of digs into the back of my ankle. Oh, and some other reviewers mentioned them being tight in the calf area, which was a concern for me, as I don't have overly thin calves, but they fit just fine - matter of fact I would almost say they are more roomy in the calf area than other boots I've owned.

My feet are warm & dry - that's saying a lot when it comes to Alaska weather! The boots fit true to proper boot size (ie. A little extra wiggle room). For reference, I wear a 9.5, and the 9/9.5 size is perfect. I would say size down sooner than sizing up if you're on the fence. I've worn these in ice, snow, and slush every day since I got them and they're great. The laces are easy to tighten and loosen, and the boot is easy to slip on. Only complaint is that the ankle area of the left boot tends to bunch up on me, but oddly, only when I lace the boots tightly.

Wide calf ladies rejoice!!!! I love these boots! They are comfy and warm with plenty of room for thick socks. ( I wear and 8 and got the 8/8.5). The best thing is that these super cute boots fit over my calves! This is always a problem for me as my calves measure 16 inches at their widest. I am so happy and have gotten several compliments already. Bring on the snow! I haven't had a chance to test the waterproof-ness yet, but I am feelIng confident. I will update if I need to.

Great boots. Cute, practical, good sole with lots to treads. I wear a size 8.5 in most shoes and size 39 in these boots were perfect. I don't like my boots big. I also have a pair if size 9 Sorels and they are clob hoppers on me and my feet move around (and they freeze). These pajar boots have a nice lining (no liner). I'm testing them out in three days at an outdoor event in Minnesota where the daytime high is supposed to be 12 degrees. The event is at 8pm, so I'll update this post after the event to let you know if my feet stay warm.

Bought these to wear in Iceland in March. Still a little too hot in Georgia. :) They are comfortable and I can wear socks with them. Hopefully, they will be waterproof and warm. They are a really cute boot! Love the way they look.

Perfect boot for commuters and also for running around doing errands. I'm on my third Chicago winter with these boots and they have kept my feet warm during polar vortex and they also are waterproof! They have held up well and continue to do the job!
