My order details show that I ordered the Ariat Heritage X Toe (snip toe) in Vintage Carmel, size 7.5B/medium width. I received the Ariat Heritage R Toe (rounded toe) in Distressed Brown, size 7.5C/wide width. I'm including pictures to show what I ordered versus what I received. Yes there's scuffs, but they look worse in the photo than in person. What the heck Amazon?? Completely different style/stitching, color and size of boot. Thankfully Ariat's are very comfortable and I can make these work. The boot itself is great, I was just really wanting more of a tan color boot rather than dark brown. I do agree with other posts to maybe order a half size down. I go between 7.5 and 8, the 7.5 fits perfect without being tight.

My complaint isn't with the shoe, (I gave a high rating for them) but with Amazon's customer service. Their customer service really is going down the toilet lately. I've used the Prime service for years and it seems to be getting worse. I contacted them about receiving the incorrect item, but I was willing to keep the boots (I need to wear them to an event tomorrow) and was hoping I could get some sort of credit for the inconvenience. Instead my only option was to send them back, mind you, they told me to go ahead and wear them to the event, then I could ship them back. I didn't accept their offer, I just closed the chat window. They emailed me a shipping label regardless. I'm sure they would try to sell them on Amazon again even though I wore them. Wouldn't it be in their best interest to give me Amazon credit that I will then turn around and spend rather than pay for my return shipping? I don't understand their logic, but it's frustrating.

I ordered these boots because Ariat is a reputable brand and I knew they would be well made, and they are! I wear a size 8 and ended up ordering a size 8 wide to allow room for socks. They certainly weren't too big - they fit as a normal 8 would, so if you want to wear relatively thick socks with them, I would recommend a 1/2 size up and definitely get a wide if you are a normal size. I wore them around the house one day to "break them in" because they were stiff when I first put them on. I was amazed at how quickly they went from being stiff to being perfect - only a few hours. I highly recommend these boots if you like the style and want a pair of genuine, quality western boots.

My FIRST Western Boots. My husband purchased for my Birthday. I have bad feet (bunions) and my feet are usually going to hurt regardless what I wear. I bought these in a wide and actually should have gotten half size smaller. With that being said, I can wear thicker socks with them and absolutely love them. They look great on and are a great quality of leather. A little stiff but that is not a big issue for me. I didn't have any sore spots on my feet other than the bunions that I deal with daily. I was skeptical about ordering online but it worked well for me. Since my husband bought these, I have purchased another pair of Ariat's and just love them and happy to find a boot that runs a little wider than most boots.

The leather is a beautifully hued caramel color and looks just like the picture. I have very narrow calves so there's a little gapping (no more than 1/4 -1/2 inch all round) but I suppose with - which doesn't detract from the appearance.

I wear between an 8.5 and a 9 --- always a 9 in boots (dress boots these are my first western boots). I'm given to understand a properly fitting new boot should make a slight popping sound when you put your heel in it, should fit firmly in the instep, and not allow rocking in the toes, and a tiny bit of heel slippage. Only one heel made the required pop when I put these on and so I believe they may a little too big. I thought about it a good deal before I decided if I went any smaller they may simply be too tight. And that's when I began to wear them.

The leather was exceptionally stiff near the ankles the first 3-4 times I wore these and they were marginally uncomfortable during break-in. After a week of wear they're comfortable as sneaker and I'm wearing them all around town even though it's still hot out. The insole is breathable and well cushioned for impact.

I travel frequently and receive compliments on these anywhere I go from Texas to Connecticut!

Just received them at home (Hong Kong), arrived couple days early, well packed. I LOVE all the details, perfect heel height 2.5 inches, comfortable for pointed toes. They’re beautifully made, thank you!

update... Will honestly order another pair! Soooo comfortable!!! The fit is perfect

Love these & always get compliments. This is my 2nd pair of these. I live in Michigan so when my boots started looking quite beat up by the snow, salt & ice, I ordered another pair.

They never fail me. Been buying ARIAT for few years. These ones looks and fit amazing. I literally work with them.

Only downside was they took over a month to confirm that they were actually coming which only made me realize how much I wanted them lol.
I got them last week and they are literally the most beautiful boots I’ve ever purchased... the details and quality are excellent and they are worth every penny... I’m usually a size 10-10.5. I chose the 11 to be on the safe side and they are perfect... they’re comfortable as is and I will be able to put a thicker sock in the fall and they’ll still be a comfortable fit!

Je suis très contente de mon achat. Les bottes sont et belles et confortables. Le cuir est d'une excellente qualité. La confection est irréprochable.
