So here's the deal....there is no other rainboot/willy that can compare with Ilse Jacobsen. This is my 5th pair and besides the fact that they are super cute and not the standard Hunters everyone else is wearing....they are super practical. Rubber lining inside is fuzzy for warmth. Lace up makes these work for huge variety of calf sizes. I originally found these when I was heavier and needed an 18 inch calf. Now at 16 they are still perfect. Thank you laces! Totally water proof and the lace up tongue are is all water tight. Easy to clean and you only need to leave up the top area when putting on. Great investment and you will get tons of compliments! !!

These are the best investment I have bought via Amazon.
I have worked in farming/ranching since I was a kid. I have boots from every major outdoor major brand and horse riding boots, which are their only competition in comfort, but no one wears them for anything but riding. These would work fine even for western horse riding and trail riding. I have worn these now a few months using them hiking in deep thickets with thorn bushes, tree branches, mud and NOT a scratch on them.
The color I chose looks so great alongside any color tops, jackets along with skinny jeans, leggings, and the latch up string will allow comfort for skinny calves like mine or more muscular shape. The inside is so soft, I forget I have boots on that are knee high.
The size I chose was my true size, and they fit well with nice thick socks.
I suspect they will last many years.
For those who just want them for show, for going out, they are also worth the investment.

I've been looking for a cute pair of rain boots for awhile. Some girls at work have Hunter's and I wanted something more unique and super cute with comfort. I saw these boots on Fab.com on sale for $115 and of course my size was sold out. I read tons of reviews which all stated how stylish, true to size and COMFORTABLE these boots are, not to mention warm. Honestly, I searched and searched for a great price (hate getting ripped off!!) I wanted black initially but they were selling for no less than $289 on Amazon and other sites....couldn't find coupons for this either...I finally found this pair in the burgundy color and thought, well that's a nice color, is dark and would go great with jeans, leggings...these were the only boots I found on Amazon for $115 so my decision to buy was easy. Got them and they were very roomy. I am a size 7. Some reviews said these boots a little larger than regular, but most said true to size. They are a little larger, but I decided to wear heavier socks rather than go to a size 36. Received MANY compliments on this boot and they're adorable, comfy and warm :) BUY THEM!

My daughter came home from shopping and really wanted these boots. I was thrilled to find them on Amazon for less money than in the store. She thought and thought about them and, after a week, decided to spend her money. It took longer than the normal 2 days for them to be delivered, but when they came she was not disappointed. She's a size 6.5, but ordered a 37 since they don't have half sizes. They fit perfectly and seem to be very good quality. I'm thinking of ordering a pair for myself in the fall. They seem very sturdy and the laces are long enough to tie, but not so long that they are an issue.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! These boots are so cute, so comfy, so stylish, so practical! I purchased them for sailing but I am tempted to wear them to work with cute skirts that reveal the whole boot, laces and all. I love them! So glad I bought white, though I had my doubts until they arrived.
I want to purchase them for all the women in my family and create a tribe of aficionados!

I've got nothing but love for these boots! They are so comfy and warm (the lime green color is a real standout). I christened them on a particularly rainy day and was so pleased with how they looked on my feet. My feet are fairly narrow and I don't have big calves, so they were roomy in the leg, but that just means I can wear thick socks and thick fleece lined leggings or jeans with no discomfort.

I would definitely love these in another color and highly recommend these awesome boots.

LOVE THESE! They are very true to size. I have the shorter version too and have put a lot of miles on them. Like the short ones, I can walk all day immediately in these, they are so comfortable and stylish.

I've worn these around the house to make sure they work and they do. Fall always arrives too soon, but I know my boots will be waiting for me! There is a lot of room for expansion at the top if you have a large calf.

I love the boots, but they're too short. I ordered 1/2 size up but they're still too short.

These boots, the red colour and design are to my joy, exactly as pictured above, I wasn't sure after reading about someone else who got pink boots, but no, these are a jolly red. They are also exceptionally well made and designed wellingtons from what I can see on trying them on for the first time just now on reciept of the parcel. I'm a size 5.5 and I bought this size which fits like a comfy glove. They're lined too, everything about them seems well thought out and am very glad I have them, thank you.

Sizing confusing wanted an 8uk and 41 was perfect with enough room for sock if required
Otherwise delighted with boot in terms of fitting comfort and looks

Beats other well known makes hands down particularly as far as comfort is concerned like walking on air!!! Thoroughly recommend

I love these boots - now have three pairs in different co!ours and lengths.
They are fully waterproof and, given the recent weather I have had ample opportunity to test this! I wear them to walk with the dog, shove them under the tap to get the dirt off (the boots not the dog) and then wear them to go shopping, or whatever.
I rarely wear them without receiving one, or more, positive comments aboit the style and/or co!our.
One important point - if you like to wear thick socks, go for your own size. If, however, you are like me and don't wear socks, go one size down. I am usually an Eu 40 but had to send my first pair back as they were too large and now buy Eu 39.

These are really nice looking boots and it's great to have something a bit different from the usual suspects, but if you want a 'serious' welly e.g. for dog walking in the country, these aren't a good choice. The grip is terrible, particularly in mud or on ice, so I think they are really more of a fashion statement than a serious boot.

I love the range of colours the boots come in! In fact I even started a collection. The quality is good and durable as well as being stylish. Living in a country where rain is the norm and unpredictable weather prevails, such boots look cool and make wellies quite fashionable. If you are looking to buy a pair I suggest you buy a size SMALLER. I am normally 38 (UK size 5) which was too loose even with thick socks. But a 37 (size 4) came out just right and comfortable.
