Town or country, this cowgirl's boot works hard but knows how to have a good time. Sporty square-toe and tons of colors, punchy or traditional; there's a legend with your name on it for out on the town.
Suit up with this Legend boot from Ariat. Not only is this boot rough and tough (and cute!) it will provide nonstop comfort thanks to the 4LR technology--a four-layered rebound cushioning system that will provide stability and sturdiness. It also has a booster bed, which will allow you to wear it longer.

I would have went about a half size smaller for these boots, but decided to keep what I had ordered in case I want to wear thicker socks. I do everything in these boots and they are cute with everything. We go out in the country to go shooting on the weekends and get quite dirty, but these boots clean up nicely. I've had them for several years now and I think the older they get, the more I grow to love them.
They should call this a wide calf boot. I love the style very much and enjoy it, but my legs look kind of funny in them. The top is very wide and when walking it looks like my leg is the inside of a bell. However, the shoe is amazing for comfort. After all if someone is wearing boots they need it to be comfortable. I bought it in wide shoe size and it was true to size (probably a little more room than expected around the foot, but with thick boot socks it will be very good). Many boots rub the top of my foot and that didn't happen at all. I am so excited for my first pair of boots. I tried on 30 in the store and didn't find one that wasn't rubbing on some part of my foot. This shoe is amazing, just wish the top didn't get wider at the top.
I have a narrow foot that usually takes a size 8 in regular footwear since I had a kid 12 years ago. (I was a solid size 7 before). I ordered a 7.5 and the boots fit me well with plenty of toe room. They're well cushioned. There is a strong reinforcement a bit above the ankle that can be painful at first but after three days of 5 hours of wear it's softened up a lot. Really wide feet might not fit very well. Or might need to endure a longer break-in period. I have long narrow feet and medium toes. My daughter has long toes and can wear this.
I've only worn these 3 times, but they're breaking in quickly. I did order a half size down from what I usually order in boots (but my true size for street shoes). They're a little on the long side lengthwise, but I think another half size down would be too small. Widthwise they're a little narrow, and they hurt my feet the first couple of wears, but by the third wear they're already stretching and will be a perfect fit once they're broken in fully.
The "Sassy Brown" boots look like a cognac color in the photo. What I just got in the mail, however, is an extremely dark brown boot...more the color of the "chocolate" photo here on Amazon (see my attached photo for actual color). I would have thought they sent me the wrong boots, but the red stitching on these matches the Sassy Brown photo and the box they came in says Sassy Brown so I guess these are it. Still a beautiful boot at a great price, so I'll probably keep them but thought I'd give the heads up to the rest of you. Also, the leather on these is incredibly stiff and has a waxy film on them...even on the rubber soles. Very strange. I could actually rub my thumb on the heel and rub off the wax (see photo #2) and the leather itself has a bit of a haze from it. Maybe they do that now to protect or waterproof the boots? Who knows, but I'm hoping it will eventually wear off. I have two older pairs of these Ariat Legends (black and brown oiled rowdy) and the leather on those is much softer and arrived with NO wax...but leather is still leather so these should break in and soften eventually. They already have after just walking around in my house in them for a couple of hours. So just know, VERY uncomfortable straight out of the box, not entirely true to color, narrow fit (which is fine if you have narrow feet like I do) and they run large so order at least a half size down. Be prepared for a good amount of pressure on your arch and other spots when you first put them on but they WILL conform to your foot during the breaking in process. So if the size and fit feels reasonably good, don't give up on them just because of a couple of tight spots.
I love these boots!!!!!! They are super comfortable and really cute!!!! Just like the picture. They are true to size. My right foot is an 8, my left foot is an 8.5 so I ordered an 8. They fit perfect! They will even fit in the winter when you wear thicker socks. I love them!!
Know your size!!! This fit perfect because I took the time to go to a boot store and try on the same brand in different sizes and different widths. It's crucial you know what a good fit feels like and you break it in slowly. 100% genuine leather should feel a bit tight (not too tight) at first and and will stretch to shape of foot for a perfect fit. These boots are beautiful and should last 20 years. Not made to get dirty but rugged enough that dirt won't ruin them if properly cared for.
I read a lot of reviews to get the right US > UK fit. I'm a UK size 6 / Euro size 39 and took reviewers' advice to buy a size down because the fit comes up large. So I ordered a USA size 7.5, but that was just slightly too big with a lot of heel lift. Given that leather boots tend to give a bit with wear, I decided to return them and order half a size down, which I'm really glad I did because the USA size 7 comes up as a perfect fit for me, even though it says on the box they are a UK 4.5 / Euro 37.5. They fit more like a Euro 38.5 or 39 (although I do have narrow feet). They are so comfortable and look fantastic. Great quality too. Definitely better than any Western boot I could find in the UK.
I bought these not realizing they were dress cowboy boots but they fit almost perfectly right off the bat. They broke in pretty fast without any pain. Love ariats for the insoles and fit.
Love these boots!!! Amazing quality leather and great fit. Fit a bit bigger than expected because of the longer toe. My same size Fatbaby boots are a little smaller fitting.
Amazing. Always loved Ariat. They’re the only boots I’ll wear. Arrived so so quickly... look gorgeous.... fit perfectly.
I liked the look of the boot and the comfortable fit. The colour is perfect. Very pleased with this item.
The boots are small for my feet. I ordered a size 7, and they were just to small.
This is my second pair; if someone doesn't steal them at the gym you'll have these for life!
Love my boots!!! I get lots of compliments. Hi-tech insoles makes walking all day in them very comfortable, great fit.
A bit wide around calf of leg
My usual Ariat size, knew what I was getting!! 4th pair!!
The quality of this boot is top shelf. Unfortunate they did not fit. Will reorder in a large size
Waay too large, I got the 7.5's for the wife, too big, exchanged and too big, returned and bought a 6 and they were too small. Just wasn't meant to be. Beautiful design and quality.
