I bought these shoes to wear walking the beach/swimming on holiday in Riviera Maya Mexico. Due to rocky coral reef areas I was advised to wear water shoes. I chose these based on good reviews and the padded inner heal. I'd had trouble with heel blistering (despite wearing water shoes) on previous trips to this area. These RocSoc water shoes fit the bill. Because my feet need really good arch support I added "Foot Petals Women's Amazing Arches Insole" which can be stuck to the inside of the shoe to improve arch support. I advise applying the Foot Petals at least a day before you wear your shoes to give the adhesive time to bond well. I love that these shoes are very light weight!

Lowdown on this shoe is it is comfortable. Fits nice, although it may run a smidge narrow. Seems to taper in to my toe box a wee bit. But once I was in the water, I felt none of this. And I have no doubt the fit will loosen up some after wearing them a few times.

The bad is that this shoe has ZERO arch support. Not good for a shoe in general, but pretty bad for a sports shoe. However, I am pleased to report that after putting in my own insoles, this shoe is now comfy and cozy. Thankfully I had a very good arch support insole I had removed from my Salomon hiking shoes a while back to replace with another. I slid those insoles into the water shoe, and, VOILA, arch support!!

I wore these shoes to my water dance aerobics class and for the first time, my feet didn't cramp up. The feel was amazing. I will say, I did slip a touch on the marker tiles in the pool, but those are slippery regardless.

Only time will tell how long these shoes will last. But I wasted no time buying a backup pair to have when the need arises. For what I spent on two pairs, you could easily spend on one pair of most other costlier water shoes. Unless, you just want to give your money away, buy these instead. Just get some high quality insoles for them!!

Let me just say, I have owned a place on a gravel bottom river for over 50 years. The rocks hurt like hell if you don’t have a decent sole on your footwear. I’ve worn everything from flip flops (forget about it) to old tennis shoes to thin water shoes to real water shoes. These RocSocs are hands down the best of anything I’ve ever tried. Light, drain water easily, mesh uppers that let your feet breathe and solid bottoms that you can walk on gravel all day long without a care. In and out of gravel bars or boats, they don’t slide around when wet. The only thing that would make them perfect is if they had a liner that would cinch around your ankle to keep out the small rocks from getting in there. But I’ve never seen any water shoe with that. If you’re a midwestern river/creek person, these are for you!

Just bought my second pair. I use them almost daily at my condo pool for exercise. They hold up well. I wore the first pair to death. The soles finally began to wear away due to the very rough surface on the bottom of the pool. I particularly love the perpetually laced up/"tied" feature. No need to retie laces over and over, as you do with other water shoes. The water gushes out the mesh areas when I exit pool. I like the beige ones. The are very lightweight and super comfortable and can't say enough good things about them. As much as I might be tempted, I don't use them as street shoes because I don't want to bring extraneous dirt into the pool.

I've had these shoes for just over two years now and about to buy my second pair because the souls are getting worn from the bottom of my pool and the pull string is getting stretched out. They have been awesome shoes. I've gotten so many people at the pool asking where did I get them and what kind are they because they notice how supportive they are and cute too. I have high arches, a bad back, and knees so I need a good support swim shoe for walking in the pool. These aren't like a tennis shoe with arch support but they have enough that my legs and back don't hurt. I shopped for a while before settling on these. There are plenty more expensive than these but I don't have the budget for those. These were great for the price and held up quite well considering I do aqua exercise 2-3 times a week!

My right foot measures 1/8" longer than my left foot. The size 9 fit the left foot comfortably but it was a bit short for the big toe on the right foot. I wore them in the house for a little while and the right shoe stretched enough to be comfortable. The 10s would have been way too big. I love these shoes and have another pair from 2 years ago. The fabric is great, they hold up well, drain well and look nice. I wear them nearly every day as regular shoes in the summer and to the beach and the river. I've never worn them around a tiled pool but, I would guess they would be a bit slippery. They slid a bit at first on my kitchen tiles until wearing them on the pavement outside scuffed up the soles a bit. if you want these just for inside pools like at the YWCA for water aerobics know there is not much grip to the bottom at all.

I was initially excited about these water shoes; however, after wearing them twice in an aqua-exercise class, my opinion has gone way down. The primary reason to wear these shoes is for better traction in the pool. These shoes do not deliver. The sole material seems hard and they are quite slippery. I really liked the color, fit and even the elastic closure, they are also light-weight; all this and NO TRACTION.

I'm a water aerobics instructor and wear these every time I am active in the water. They are slip resistant, do not weigh you down and really make a difference!

These are amazing water sneakers. We recently bought these for our trip to Jamaica and our planned climb of Dunn's River Falls. If anyone has done this climb you know how slippery the surface of the rocks can be most are completely immersed. Not once did I slip or even feel like I was going to slip, these shoes are great! Light weight and comforatable

I had to send these back. They are way to tight across the foot. They say women's but they don't fit like women's, more like men's which are narrower. Very disappointed. My foot is a regular medium women's width.

Need extra support for your water foot wear? These deliver. Sturdy, well made and they dry very quickly. Worth the money. Will buy again.

Great AquaFit shoes. Lightweight, supports well, dries fast. I like wearing these mostly because they create a bit of extra drag giving a better workout.

El costo es bueno pero se puede encontrar algo de mejor calidad pagando un poco más, la talla es muy reducida sugiero adquieran un número más.

A very solid shoe. Good quality and lightweight. Much better than previous aqua shoes (pink option) that I had - it makes exercising in the water easier (i.e. less concerns) since the strings on the instep are fit more securely.

sand gets in the shoes easily and I got blisters, but the shoe is comfortable for walking around and is not slippery.

Muy buen zapato para el agua
    Los compre para velear
    Precio calidad muy buenas

Comfy and fit as expected, have not had a chance to wear them in a water environment yet so had to give a 4 star until this has been tried, but hoping for the best.

These are nice shoes for Aquafit. The cons are: they do not dry quickly and they are somewhat slippery on the pool floor. But for the price they are pretty good shoes!

    supero mis espectativas

I really liked the product when it arrived. Wore them in the water in Cozumel. They took a long time to dry and smelled musty when wet and dry

Girl friend takes size 7 in most shoes. These are a tad tight but I feel after getting wet they will be perfect. She loves them

My gf has foot size 6.5, this one fits perfectly. Give 4 stars because the sponge come out after wearing several times.

Great! Helped with shock absorption for soar foot while doing Aquafit classes.
