Love this design, I ordered a few styles and materials from Amazon of similar products and almost didn't order this one but I am so glad I did! It is perfect and I love the reinforced supported heel especially since I am prone to plantar fasciitis when I am in bare feet. I am noticing soreness in the balls of my feet so I found pairing these shoes with zentoes metatarsal gel pads ( https://www.amazon.com/ZenToes-Metatarsal-Cushion-Supports-Metatarsalgia/dp/B0716J6G8X/ref=asc_df_B0716J6G8X/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312087935433&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1404781470524416368&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9019614&hvtargid=pla-569297912288&psc=1 ) was the perfect solution for comfortable support during my long hours of teaching barre classes and rehearsing new routines. I wear a size 10 in sneakers and ordered a size 10 in these and the fit was perfect. love the leather outsole as well. highly recommend!

I ordered these for my very first barre classes as an adult. I have never had ballet lessons sadly and have always wanted to pursue this form of fitness but needed something to keep my feet protected and me stable. These are amazing in terms of comfort and grip- although I work out on wood veneer floors- they do a decent job. I do slip a little bit in certain positions like planking, but when I need to slide they’re really great. As far as sweat? Everyone does that to a degree but i can’t say it was excessive for me. In terms of barre shoes these are in my opinion the best as they hold on to your feet well and allow good range of motion along with the comfort of not slamming my heels into the floor with its heel cup which is AMAZINGLY comfortable.
The sock style barre footwear you see popular online sucks for me as it causes bad friction on my feet and too much grip, meanwhile the wrap “shoe” is alright but depending on your foot shape- may move about and expose certain parts of your foot not wanted to the floor as you’re turning (and in addition can have too much or too little grip). For me hands down these Bloch shoes are perfection- it’s a shame they’re discontinued by the manufacturer, so get em while they’re here!
For reference: I’m a size 40M European or 9.5 medium American shoe generally (though truth be told if the shoe is wide enough I’m actually an 8.5-9) Per previous reviews, I ordered the 10 and although it fits for me, it appears almost on the larger side in fit although looks just fine (due to the room I have, as it does move a little during certain exercises, I may adjust them slightly periodically) I also ordered the 9 as well for comparison and we shall see if it truly runs small- of it my feet are simply not as large as I imagine them to be. Ultimately the 10 works just fine and I couldn’t be happier in them while attempting to reach my goals.

-Update: ordered the 9 which ultimately fit snugger than the 10 and eliminated my need to adjust periodically. (Not that the 10 had a lot of excess fabric, but it was enough to cause me to adjust throughout my workout)
So although I’m a 40 European, the 9 works perfectly. And as it’s neoprene- it moves with your foot vs limiting it and is not tight but just right.

If you are used to doing yoga or Barre bare foot, these will feel like combat boots. This may be a plus for people looking for foot support. The heels are very padded.

I agree with the reviewer who said these shoes make your feet hot.

I wear sizes 6, 6.5 and 7 depending on the shoe. I bought these in a 7 and they fit perfect.

I like them and will keep them. However, I think they are a little too expensive. I would have been happy without them - not life changing.

I wore these to my first barre class due to my planter's fasciitis and was so pleased. I wear 8.5 and ordered 9's which worked well. They are very soft and stretchy but firm enough to support. They look cute, too.

I teach barre and Zumba and I bought this to use in Barre class. Super comfortable. They offer some nice arch support. Very good quality. The only thing, I notice my toes get a little sweaty in them.

Work great for teaching Barre. A little slippery on the bottom and no cushion if that’s what you’re looking for.

I bought these to wear to my pilates reformer class, I love them. They are exactly what i have been looking for. The only downside , my feet do sweat a little in them.

I’m using these for Les Mills Barre class. The bottom is great for turning, I wish the pad was a little larger, to assist with balance. I don’t care for the rubber heel pad, it’s causing some “sticking”. They feel like they fit smaller than they should, but if I was to go up in size they would be too big.
