I’ve worn Montrail for years. These aren’t worthy of the name. Poor quality material. Plastic-y around the tongue, no support, no sole padding, feels flat. Plus - they hurt! No thanks.

These shoes are cute and provide a firm sole that is comfortable out of the box. The best part, though, is that I can wear these without pain! I had to switch to wide shoes due to bunions. I was using Brooks for several years, but the latest versions caused so much pain, even in wide. I tried several brands. The only shoe that didn’t cause pain was my old pair of Montrail trail shoes that are no longer made. Well, I can wear this Columbia Montrail comfortably without pain, and I didn’t even need a wide.
